What is this? /barryburton
this could very well be the most boring thing i've ever watched.
bullshit and everybody knows this. They are harming the site's
reputation.
And we're sure that this isn't a case of confirmation bias?
I'm not trying to say that there isn't creepy, whiny, self-aggrandizing bullshit on some of the Troper Tales pages, but I only know that because people have taken the time to point the worst examples out to me.
Hell, even the This Troper videos jump around the pages to find the worst possible examples they can, skipping large sections of content to paint a certain picture.
Going by that, someone without prior knowledge could think our right-side forums are exactly the same, and that we would thus be better off without them.
You're right, it probably is confirmation bias. But at this stage, what are we supposed to do?
aka: Troper Tales
I preferred it back when we were "destroying the wonder of fiction through over-analysis".
aka: Troper Tales
Personally, I couldn't care less what happens to Troper Tales. And it's removal won't repair TV Tropes reputation, the damage is already done. But seeing all the circular discussions over and over again is incredibly annoying.
And I could say pretty much the same thing. If it weren't Kino-style, I would start doing it always when somebody whines about TT.
There. Simple.
Yeah! Like some sort of blogspot with horible grammar!
I won't change it so your comment still makes sense
That's one of my favorite criticisms next to the "Animetropes.org" one. At least those were virtually harmless.
._.
Well, I'm going to just go have a panic attack now.
