  • But you never had any to begin with.
Hell, pretty much that entire video was tame.
  • No rainbow star
I'd like to say that I think more internal orginization in the folders would be useful (alphabetical, publishing/reveal/day that it happened date, doesn't matter. Just something other than, "Order in which they were added")

Also, I want to hear what they think my voice sounds like D:
  • Just discovered this today. Subscribed. Panic thumped old posts.
  • And now they've started stalking specific users.
  • I can't say anything about Lucky Revenant, but Made of Meat sounds like the sort of person they'd go after.
  • Clean your room little Billy
And shortly goons and youtube commenters will invade the fora like barbarians sacking Rome. None shall be saved from the fires of bad grammar and PM trolling. Weep for the lost, or use sadface emoticons as the case may be.
  • How terribly tame. They make it seem as if people having deviant and creepy thoughts and quirks is uncommon.
  • Clean your room little Billy
^ Yeah but most people still like to pretend that their deviant and creepy thoughts are better than everyone else's deviant and creepy thoughts. Never underestimate people's hypocrisy, or their ability to use it as a weapon.

Going after Made of Meat seems like it would be rather pointless, considering how long the ban has been for.

    Loser
Well, I think talking about specific users like that is pretty inappropriate. I mean, I can understand making fun of some of the more "out there" troper tales and I can kind of see why one might find some specific comments in the forums strange. However, going against individual tropers just seems wrong to me. Even if you think people are weird online, I believe that you should either leave them alone or if you do want to interact with them, treat them kindly. Picking on tropers like this seems very petty to me.

I also think that the fact that This Troper has to go all the way back to 2009 to complain about Lucky Revenant's posts shows how silly this whole thing is.

Because you never know what you might see.
I changed my mind.  Picking on specific individuals like that just proves they're complete assholes.  Fuck CrazyGoggs, fuck This Troper, fuck the whole thing.

    Douchebags.

Edit: On examination, this is nothing new; they've been picking on specific tropers in Troper Tales for a while now.  There's no reason why they should treat Lucky or Meaty any different from Haggis or Carthestian, I guess.

The guys making these videos are still tossers and I still want to punch them right now.

  • Because you never know what you might see.
Buh.  Calmed down a little.  Stupid, it's not like Lucky or Meat are the types who'd care that much about that kind of video, anyway.  Lucky will probably be amused and I don't even know what Meats does nowadays.  Actually, somebody stalking Meats like that is kind of ironic, now I think about it.

But yeah, I mad.  I will not be watching this series in future.  E-stalking people like that is not funny.

Actually, they started attacking individuals with their Haggis Mc Crablice video.

  • Because you never know what you might see.
Yeah, I saw.  Hence my edit above.

But I hadn't seen their Haggis McCrablice videos before today, and anyway, Haggis isn't a person that I've actually conversed with before.
  • And what's a "tosser", anyway?
  • Because you never know what you might see.
    A dick, a wanker, a bastard.  A scumbag.

Haggis seemed genuinely creepy, (as well as Meat, but we all know her) Lucky is not only the sort of person it seems cruel to pick on, but also nothing in comparison to some Tropers I could name.

I'd also like to note that reading and digging up Meat's posts is not the same thing as stalking. Stalkers look for addresses and shit, and don't stop. These guys just grabbed some internet publication for a one-off video and then left her alone. You can't accuse them of being stalking.

It's like they think they're experts on a community of people they've never met before. And experts on said community too. It's Judgement Day, people!!1 Except God is a Lone Wolf Goon and Hell is a wacky voice.

I never got that impression from This Troper.

You guys are overreacting about this. Again. Just let them have their laughs and they'll move on.
  • ☭Unstoppable Sex Goddess☭
This Troper hasn't found any of my creepy fucked up edits (mostly because they were nuked from the pages after the whole Troper Tales Repair Mission happened)....
  • Because you never know what you might see.
But "their laughs" involve making a public spectacle of other people by painting them in the worst light possible through the use of carefully selected forum posts that are over a year old.
  • I'd like to note that we never would have gotten to this point if we'd ditched troper tales a while ago.
  • But you never had any to begin with.
^ ...Do you honestly believe that, or are you just trying to keep up appearances?
  • edited 2011-05-13 15:17:45
I don't see what's so unreasonable about it. No troper tales = one less thing to mock. It's a huge part of the site, and definitely more visible than the forum weirdos - a low-hanging fruit.
  • But you never had any to begin with.
Perhaps, but to say we would have never gotten to this point is extreme optimism, to say the least. Sites much less visible than TV Tropes have been mocked before, after all.

Wait, does This Troper actually point out who read it and asks for people to humiliate them?

Or does he just read over what they wrote and not make any trolling alliteration about it?

Because you never know what you might see.
I think you're quite right, Myr, but it frustrates me because the right side of the forums are a largely separate community from Troper Tales with relatively little overlap, and every time we've tried to get them deleted we've been unsuccessful.
