You know what else is awesome? Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats.
>Tell my father I saw Judge Dredd last night
>Father asks me why I saw a remake of a shitty Stallone movie.
Malk - did you tell him to gaze into the fist of Dredd?
so I finally watched through Madoka a second time
it turns it's got much more substance to it than I thought it did the first time around
Hey, Alex, I'm curious.
Didja ever finish watching Batman: The Animated Series?
I've fallen in love again.
~here comes the bride~
fuck, that joke didn't turn out as intended. who would be the bride, kraken or the game?
kraken
Most definitely Kraken.
Since I've been out of school for a while, my parents got me Rosetta Stone for Japanese so I don't lose my progress. I went through the first lesson to see how it it, and so far, I'm fairly impressed. It's definitely no substitute for a class, but it's pretty solid. The only section I was a little disappointed with was the writing one, though it's early on, so it may improve later.

Nothing, I've just heard... stories about it.
Mostly about how overpriced it is.
It's pretty horribly overpriced, yeah. But they can afford to do that because it's the only language course outside of a school that isn't shit.
Appointment in Crime Alley is simply perfection. Batman beating the shit out of Mitt Romney-like characters’ plans and then putting roses on the spot where his parents died will never get old for me.
I also love the bit where he saves a trolley instead of chasing criminals.
See, to me, Batman should always prioritize helping people over fighting crime and I love that B:TAS cares about that side of the character.
But really, that ending made me cry. I've always been a sucker for Batman visiting his parents.
One of the things I've heard is that you can find everything it has to offer in the internet for free, if not as conveniently structured.
On the topic of language learning, I recently got into Lang-8.com. Haven't written anything yet, though.
Not really. At the very least, I've never seen any internet language program with speech recognition.
That feel when I'm workshopping a classmate's piece and I have to keep myself from scribbling diatribes in the margins.
That moment afterwards where I feel like a dick.
I'm disappointed by something that was pretty much outside of my control.
(FWIW it is not related to social/family relationships, employment, or education.)
Why do I keep hanging my hopes on stuff I have no control over...
Because you are human?
*sneezes* I agree completely. How far into it are you?
My favorite loadout so far is the Machete and Fang - for quickness - and Grenade; for suppression. The Hammer, Bow, and Shotgun are powerful, but slow.
Edit: lol autocorrect
I think it is safe to say that the Kid is yet another iteration of David Bowie.
I think that I have rediscovered my sense of inspiration. Now I need to seize it and do something with it.
Wish me luck!
Nothing makes my day quite like good deals for CDs.
The world is constantly getting weirder(NSFW):
