Happy Birthday, nohay!
Hastily made cake.
That looks like it's a literal sponge cake.
Oh well, I tried.
I'm about 158 lbs and am 5'7"
My family (still apartment hunting - well, looking for programs to help me anyways) says I need to eat more. I think I'm about the right weight, maybe a bit on the heavy side (I am not fit, so virtually none of this is excess muscle)
Who's right?
"Montano and myself being in speech, / There comes a fellow crying out for help / And Cassio following him with determined sword / To execute upon him."
Challenge: What was the first sentence on the page, and who says that sentence?
Also, happy birthday, nohay!
Isn't that a Shakespeare play?
Oh, happy birthday, nohay!
@ Icalasari: You're about average for your height, maybe a tiny bit under depending on your frame. It couldn't hurt to do a few pushups a day if you want to bump a bit, but otherwise I really wouldn't worry about it.
IJAM: around 53 minutes into this video, all of the video makers for the Escapist (minus Yahtzee, who just stares disapprovingly) do Gangnam style. It's somehow even better because most of them haven't ever seen it.
So, uh, I guess my hair is at a tolerable length now.
Just caught up with SA's hair styling megathread, and I have to wonder how many women actually dislike non-short hair that much.
I'm listening to an hour-long anime theme medley.
^^ Many of the girls I know have nothing against a little longer hair, from what I've seen and heard.
> implying viking metal glory hair isn't the obviously superior style
Viking metal glory hair isn't the obviously superior style.
... Well, he didn't imply it, at least.
>implying one should take validation from the internet if one wants to carry one's hair a certain style instead of your meatspace bros
...
> implying I'm not invalidating the internet

So I guess today I get to move into a different dorm room. This is pretty nice since the one I'm in right now gets flooded any time it rains so half the room is covered in mold. >.>
Also thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday
The idea is that I might get a better glimpse at the big picture by getting all these opinions, including those from people as judgmental as YLLS, rather than just people who'll probably tell me it looks fine even if it really doesn't, and when one group presents its opinions so strongly, I have to wonder if that lines up with previous experience, and if I'll actually look better if I go by some of their changes.
But, while I still wonder about all these different opinions, it occurs to me that I'll never, ever agree with some of them on what looks good, and I'll have to deal with that my own way. Besides, none of them could really think of suggestions anyway, and I definitely recognize that they're not a fix-all group.
There's a power outage at my dorm, and only my dorm fuck fuck fuck.
Was this already posted?
Turns out French flatmate is one of those overly meek types. My dishwashing model of 'recycle plate/pan with rinsing, do dishes at end of week' clashes with hers, and she doesn't mention it until a month in I get a text that's 3/4 parts apology for even bringing the matter up. Insisting that she can tell me such things directly without worry will probably scare her even more.
Awmaigad, there are Wolfgame (the Mafia-like chat game) videos on Nico Nico Douga, and there's even Touhou of it. I used to play the hell out of that. Ahh, memories.
So Princess Amethyst, DC's big attempt to appeal to young girls, has an attempted rape in it.
Yep.
Can't say I'm surprised, given DC's recent attitudes towards women.
Would have thought a female-written comic would have avoided that shit though.
