^ How is this instance attempted rape portrayed in the comic?
Ugh, that sounds disgusting.
It was. But I'm in a new room now and it's a lot nicer. Also a different size and shape, which is weird because it's a dorm room in the same building and you'd think the rooms would be built to the same specifications.
I've lived in a dorm where the suites and rooms are really weirdly arranged at times. The smallest single room was like 8x8 with a little bit cut out to fit the window to the next room over. The biggest single had a bay window added onto a huge room (at least like 12 feet across and maybe 10 feet deep before the window, which added another couple feet with another feet or more with the diagonals cut off).
I think that wasn't its original design, and its original design was even weirder--like, it had bedrooms that were connected only to other bedrooms, or something.
True, though remember that writers have to do whatever the editors say.
bluh can't sleep depression will eat me
can't sleep lack of accomplishment will eat me
GOOOOD MORNING, IJBM!

IJBM: People complaining about how jetpacks and flying cars don't exist.
They've both existed for decades. Turns out, they just kind of suck in real life.
Sorry, felt the need to gripe briefly. Carry on.
>True, though remember that writers have to do whatever the editors say.
I don't think that's it. I mean, looking at a lot of our infamous rape scenes in comics (The shit you find yourself in message boards I'm telling ya) I don't think it's an editorial mandate. I just think it's an ill-suited attempt to be mature.
I think it's more of a writer making a bad choice than an editorial mandate.
I mean, I'm going to keep up with this comic, because the 19 pages that didn't have rape in it were really good but god...
Good to know. I might check it out when I buy comics.
Speaking of DC and women, though, I recently found out that in the original version of Red Hood and the Outlaws #1, Starfire's bikini was transparent. I wish I was joking. Just when you think something couldn't be any worse...
And i ended up giving a class on batmanology 101
>free booze as a thank you for doing committee work
>slug alcohol and caffeine
>next up, battle of the bands gig at local venue
It's a waste to get hammered and then not go to an expensive locale.
^^Details, my contemporary. Details.
Basically, as it turns out, the doctor was a guy who had read my articles on the newspaper.
And he was a medicine professor.
So, I had a sore throat and they were asking me stuff about movies.
Eventually, TDKR came up and I explained why the Nolan movies were not really good Bat-stories for the most part.
And then, hilarity ensued in the shape of explaining the history of the DCU through a Bat-Perspective.
That was Bat-fun
bat
That's pretty cool. TDKR is the best movie I watched in a cinema with my friends in years... which is kind of sad, actually, but I'm hopeful I'll be able to get them to watch Cloud Atlas (unfortunately, it'll be in theaters next year around here).
hey man my mom's battiness is not up for debate
And I didn't watch TDKR with friends. That was sad.
I did watch the Avengers with friends, though. That was fun, except for the part where I had to explain the whole Marvel Universe to my sister.
that feel
i know it all too well
I was expecting worse traffic.
kill time
no really
kill time
ah.
I imagine that's "How to murder time and influence people" by Matt Smith?
Must have been an amusing experience.
