Nyktos: blame the forum software >_<
For the record, I'd be fine with attempting to participate in an RP. Probably not running it, though, unless absolutely no one else considers it. But I have significantly more free time now.
I suck at RPing so I ain't runnin' one.
Wasn't it your fault the Riddle of Steel game never got off the ground? >:[
I don't quite know what happened to the Vampire game, though.
We kept forgetting when it was scheduled. I think.
So, Talking With Gods is almost as good as that recent Bill Hicks doc that was released last year.
And I can't stop picturing Warren Ellis as that old uncle who told you funny stories about your dad during his crazy years.
I really need to find a better way to clean my armpits than with baking soda...
Just burn and shave the fucking thing down.
After HSO wraps up, there's an idea for a 4th edition one-shot I've had in mind for a while (mainly just to see if I can run 4th edition so I can do a longer game); I might post that here, see if it works out by virtue of being a one-shot.
HSO?
Like Charlatan, I'm not sure you're ready to hear what that stands for.
apparently, homestuck shipping olympics? which is a thing that exists.
oh yeah that.
I knew it was going to involve Homestuck in some way.
It was inevitably going to be either homestuck or ponies.
well there's planescape but he only talks about it once every century when the lady of pain's not watching.
Never said it wasn't. <_<
Riddle of Steel, eh?
Fair enough. :P
Yeah. I was actually pretty stoked for it. Seems like a good system.
Medieval fantasy RPG with a realistic combat system (as in, written by someone who knows the martial arts of medieval Europe) and a magic system built around combining different magical effects, where the penalty for failure is aging your character.
It's pretty neat, and can satisfy both the historical and fantasy crowds. Unfortunately, it's both very obscure and out of print, although this means you can obtain the rules via download free of guilt.
I am not sure it is the 'shippers' part of that I am mocking.
GRRGAAARRGGUUUUGRRRGG
they're 13
Are the trolls, though?
Yes.
The trolls are six sweeps, which is 13 in human years.
okay.
Anyways, I was going to call Haven. I needed his help for something Homestuck related.
hope you have his number
It's fluff, not smut. (Well, except for Team Slick<3
Anyway, what'd you need?
thirteen-year-old romances weird me out. mostly because I look at real life and see how juvenile they are and it makes me wonder why people would write that.
