Well, that was my first thought since MBA is an aerial fighting game as well.
Alternatively, Touhou Hisoutensoku or Wartech: Senkou no Ronde, which are also fighting games about shooting things. Also, Magical Battle Arena isn't just Nanoha-themed. Also, it probably isn't very good since Elemental Battle Academy was pretty bad and by the same devs (but I love Pop's character designs so I had to play it anyway... >.>).

Has anybody seen the HBO series Girls? The previews seem good but since it's HBO I'm kind of weary going into it since HBO recently became the softcore porn channel.
