^^That's... uncanny.
And that is why I am watching Memento with my mom.
gonna be fun when we get to some of the other movies
Something similar happened with me and my mom. I thought we'd watch Mask of the Phantasm together (Because we ended up talking about superheroes and I ended up giving her an speechy diatribe about how they are good for pretentious bastards like me) but...I couldn't find subs for it so we've been stuck on that,. I'll show her All Star Superman or something, probably
or Superman vs The Elite
i'm pretty sure she's gonna hate district 9 and seven and probably fight club though
my mom loved the shit out of Se7en. Even more than me (I liked it, but I felt it kinda dragged here and there)
Still hafta watch District 9.
Hey Juan, ever heard of a game called
nope
what does it do
does it serve waffles
cuz i could use waffles
It's like Magic the Gathering and Monopoly's bastard child. is the best way I can put it.
Just played it, have this happy grin on my face to be sharing info on it now, probably helps I won my first game of it >_>, but I lost the one after
Way faster than monopoly
It's basically got the ramp up of a magic game, mixed with the blood-thirsty nature of a monopoly game.
I've been wanting to try out Dominion (and/or the similar Ascension) for ages now.
interesting fact: when me and my sister play monopoly, we always sacrifced people because it fits the game, yo
anyway, er, how does one play dominion
do you like
roll dices -> make shit happen
or like
put cards on the table -> make shit happen
or do you do both (which would mean that dominion = planechase)
Dominion is that one non-TCG card game that has many different types of cards and you choose ten of them to play with at a time, right?
who knows, she might surprise me
I'm kind of surprised she liked Memento, to be honest. Though she'd probably say she liked it to make me feel good about getting her to watch it even if she didn't.
Put cards on the table, start with three 1-land cards (Whoever has the most wins in the end) and seven coppers which is 1 monies. players get 1 action (you can buy action cards) and 1 buy (kind of like tapping lands, you just put your money down for the amount) But hand size is always 5, and you discard your hand after every turn to draw, shuffle your discards when you run out of the ability to draw and work with the hand you got.
Action cards range from cards that let you draw, to cards that give you money, to cards that let you have more than 1 buy/actions(Specific: Cellar lets your discards in your hand and draw that many cards, gives you 1 action, so it pays for itself really)
Money cards are the cards you buy the land cards and action cards with. they range from 1 copper, which costs 0 but stills takes 1 buy to get, Silver, which counts for 2, and takes 3 to get. and gold, which counts for 3 and costs 6 to get. (example cost will be the cellar, which is 2)
Land cards are basically useless cards until the end, but you need them to win.(1 land cards cost 2, 3 land cards cost 5, and 6 land cards cost 8)
The game ends when 1 stack of cards (I.E. if there are no cellars to literally buy, the game ends)
Also, has to get food now, but I felt that was fair, ask questions and I'll get back to ya.
Watch Seven Samurai and complain later with your pony gifs, foo'
