twitter would do that to you. i decided to send that shit to the ninth circle of hell and let that be that.
but laconism, conciseness and wit.
My mom baked my favorite cookies, and I'm sick and can't eat them. -_-
Just watched the first episode of the new Lupin III series. Absolutely amazing, and it's wonderfully drawn. Not something to watch around other people, since Fujiko spends a few points in the episode topless, but it's all very naturally done.
I haven't ever watched any Lupin III. Should I start?
(though, I was probably going to try watching that anyway, since I'm willing to try the first couple episodes of every show this season since why not?)
"Not something to watch around other people"
I hate it when things have to come with this disclaimer, especially when there's no good reason for those embarrassing elements to exist. I'd like my media to appeal to people other than basement-dwelling nerds (not implying anyone here, but that kind of pandering tends to be very obvious), thank you very much.
Seduction is core to Fujiko's character, seeing as she is an excellent example of a femme fatale.
Well, at least it makes sense in context then, I guess.
In other news, why the hell are the Wildrose Party at the top of the polls again? I guess if I'm voting in the riding which contains the university, NDP has a good shot, but elsewhere, I really don't want to resort to "strategic voting" to keep these idiots out.
IJBM: My mom asking for help with stuff like ordering from websites I've never visited but that she's visited several times, no matter how many times I say "mom, I'm just reading the instructions on the screen to you."
Twitter's fun!
@INUH: Ugh, my mom, and my grandmother do that too. My grandmother does it with software, so I think that's even worse. "Nick, come over and show me how to use this photo gallery program." "I don't know how to use that program." "But you'll be able to figure it out better than I can!"
Worst part is I can't argue with her logic there.
This is a thing. (Madoka spoilers, yada yada.)
Wait, we have new spoiler tags?
@Saigyouji: Agreed the new Lupin III series is great, it just oozes style. Though the gratuitous nudity still bothers me, though it is still less obnoxious than most anime.
>and elaborations and explanations.
Read: Needless repetition.
(Reads further) Oh wait, New Lupin's out? (runs off)
^^ Sorry to hear that. I know how you feel though. Last time I went I was with people who really probably didn't want to be with me, and it made the whole thing tremendously awkward, and yet I even preferred that to not being with them at all, so...
I hate being sick. Went for a five minute walk and now I'm completely exhausted.
My legs are planning to overthrow me, i swear to god.
I guess I'll check the new Lupin III series soon, although I want to binge something, not to watch something every week.
Honestly, aside from the opening, it doesn't feel gratuitous to me. Each time it happens, there's purpose behind it, and for the most part, no real focus is placed on it. (See: The zipline scene.)
I have suddenly realized that we have
Yeah, I think the toggleboxes got added because nobody realized we had spoiler tags.
According to UE they were added before bbcode was enabled.
Ah, okay, so the spoilers were more recent. Gotcha.
We definitely had toggleboxes before we had bbcode. Which means we presumably had toggleboxes before we had spoiler tags.
Or, I guess you guys could already figure that out before I post, I guess... >.>

I love this website
I'm pretty surprised that they're getting to release so much for free.
In multiplayer games, allowing non-cosmetic options in return for cash is disaster. Balance would hinge severely on one's willingness or ability to part with cash, and multiplayer communities are intensely sensitive to balance.
^Note that he said "that they're getting to release so much for free."
The surprise is more that EA understands that giving away stuff for free isn't just a pure waste of money that will destroy a company.
And apparently the woman in charge of room reservations is stuck in traffic and asks if fucking four thirty is okay. How about you don't go so god damn far away from the hotel during your posted reservation hours?!
The first time I went I cosplayed as Quote from Cave Story. It was kind of a lame costume, but a couple people seemed to like it or at least recognize it so I was kinda happy. But I didn't cosplay the next year since I just... didn't, I guess.
No, they wanted to go. They didn't want to go with me. They were going with one another, and I kind of just tagged along with them because it wasn't much fun if I wasn't with anyone I knew. I got the impression that they didn't really want me around though.
On the other hand, I think that about everyone all the time so I could have been wrong. Still doesn't change the situation much though since it still kind of made it an awkward experience either way.
But that was only the second time I went, the first time I went I was with people who were actually my friends and it was fun.
