  • ^^I do, actually. Mainly for my little brother, but I dig figures still and wouldn't mind owning that. How much is it? I'm unable to look it up at the moment, but damn if I'm not curious.

Tamashii Nations' website says the suggested retail price is 3360 yen. There's a rerelease coming out in June, but preorders appear to be sold out already. You might be able to find a good deal by searching for "Ultra-Act" on Mandarake. Just, note that these things don't go through they kind of safety tests toys in general do, so some parts can be terribly fragile, and sharp pieces might be really sharp. I actually cut myself on the little red piece near the upper left in this picture (the picture doesn't really show how sharp it is, though). And the color timer parts are a bitch to deal with.

  • Sometimes I miss the dramaposters we all collectively railed into. It gave us a sense of community.

  • So I've just been hanging out in my dad's apartment for the past two weeks. Next week I'm going back to college so I can take a summer class.

I'd never thought I'd say this, but it's actually kind of boring not having any work to do.

  • Responding to the tumblr, flooded with uncomfortable memories.

  • Oh. I kinda thought you were replying to Zennistrad's post.

  • I've realized we need to stop using 'basement dweller' as an insult. We can't judge if someone has moved in or stays with their parents due to the harsh economic times, and it reeks of classism.

  • "you duck spawn, refined creature, you try to be cynical, yokel, but all that comes out of it is that you're a dunce!!!!! you duck plug!"

You know, when you think of it, "basement dweller" sounds like a fine slur for a dwarf in a fantasy story.

    Not to mention cultural differences.

In the Balkans, it is customary for people to live with their parents until they get married or, at the very least, get a stable and permanent job. Often they remain living in their parents' house forever, even though they have a family of their own.

  • Next up, neckbeard could be ableist because of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudofolliculitis_barbae so better not take the risk, and ridiculing fedora-wearers has an undertone of gender policing because it was originally a woman's hat.

  • Kichigai birthday!!

My computer crapped out and I'm to lazy to get in again, sorry

  • It's cos I left, isn't it?
  • Kichigai birthday!!

    Nah, It's because it's 3:30 AM here

  • And because you secretly love me.
  • Finally moved into new home in old neighborhood. Trying to get settled in.
  • Anyone still recognize you? Or is it one of those hate all the neighbours and vice versa like my neighbourhood?

  • No not really. I live in a different street but the city is still the same.

I never really got to know my neighbors that well.

I just found out something. That accordion guy from the Remove Kebab video?

On 24 May 1997, a 34-year-old Bosnian Serb was sentenced by a German court to five years in jail for taking part in a massacre of Bosnian Muslims during the war in Bosnia.

Novislav Djajic was found guilty on 14 counts of acting as accomplice to murder and attempted murder. It was the first war crimes trial in Germany since the Nuremberg tribunal on Nazi war crimes more than 50 years ago.

Although there was no sufficient evidence that Novislav Djajic had “intent” to commit genocide, Judge Ermin Briessmann recalled that the court established, beyond reasonable doubt, that Serb forces committed genocide in the Bosnian municipality of Foča [pronounciation: FO-CHA] in 1992 (three years before the Srebrenica genocide).

The judge held Djajic responsible for the massacre of Bosnian Muslims. He recalled how Djajic along with other Bosnian Serb troops, had lined up 15 Bosnian Muslim civilians on a bridge over the river Drina near the town of Foca in eastern Bosnia in April 1992 and shot 14 of them in revenge after their colleagues were killed by a mine.

Novislav Djajic filed an appeal arguing he was innocent and challenging the judgement that Serb forces committed the Bosnian genocide. At Djajic’s appeal on 23 May 1997, the Bavarian Appeals Chamber confirmed that the acts of genocide against the Bosnian Muslim population were committed in June 1992 in the administrative district of Foca.

    This is him.

  • Jazz festival which I promo'd for was yesterday, this was the highlight, imho:

  • No rainbow star

    Guh

Times I've said, "I love you" or variants to C (name used for the girl I've been considering breaking up with) and she doesn't reply: A few times in the last few months

Decided to ignore such a text from her and I am feeling immense guilt. Guh why am I like this >.<

  • I now feel I can let this out without thinking I might be too harsh.

Fuck socialism. Fuck communism. Fuck the left. Fuck it all.

  • "you duck spawn, refined creature, you try to be cynical, yokel, but all that comes out of it is that you're a dunce!!!!! you duck plug!"

    Dude, please elaborate.

  • One foot in front of the other, every day.

I can tell you right now, as a socialist, what Maduro has done and continues to do is not at all what I stand for. Without proper democracy and the means to properly care for a region's citizens, socialism isn't valid to my mind. So while I stand by you, completely, in your opinions concerning the current state of affairs in Venezuela, it's also worth keeping in mind that this isn't socialism but a bid for power using the moniker as a front. As so many "socalist" governments have been in the past, unfortunately.

  • Dude, please elaborate.

Rationing card. You know, like our Cuban masters.

Besides that, about 5 bad and/or infuriating news in one day (yesterday, but whatever, I'm complaining now), and a passivity

Maduro has done and continues to do is not at all what I stand for.

Maduro is doing nothing, he's just there being unable to do anything (both in the sense that he's not capable and that they won't let him). Those acting up are the sea of shit (Mario Silva dixit) that represents fifteen years of building a nationwide net of clientelism, corruption, and blind devotion to an ideology, all brought upon through socialism.

Without proper democracy and the means to properly care for a region's citizens, socialism isn't valid to my mind.

Well, our socialists destroyed the first and used the perfect chance to achieve the second to establish their ideology instead. Forgive me if I don't buy it.

  • Double post because I can't seem to be able to edit.

this isn't socialism but a bid for power using the moniker as a front.

The latter was brought upon by the former.

As so many "socalist" governments have been in the past, unfortunately.

And that's why this bullshit must stop throughout the world.

  • Before this descends into No True Socialist, let's note that about every government system is a mixed compromise between various forms and that things start going down the shitter when one form gains ground over the others.
