    Kilgore, chill out. Seriously.

So I'm supposed to, what, just say nothing and wait until more of the story gets spoiled for me before I've had a chance to play through it?  You were the one who said a few pages ago that you didn't want to ask for help completing the Jedi Knight storyline because you didn't want to spoil it for Nova, before she told you that she didn't care about that, so I'd think if anybody understood about spoilers it'd be you.

EDIT: I do appreciate you taking care to not spoil anything in your more recent posts, Nova, but I feel like if I had kept quiet and said to myself "Oh, it's not that big a deal, just try to ignore it," or if I hadn't made it clear just how strongly I felt about it, that you wouldn't be doing that.

I've seen people get really angry about spoilers in the past, and IMHO they're justified.

No, you're supposed to just politely let the person know about it? I'm pretty sure that Nova wasn't trying to spoil anyone with that post, and there's a difference between saying "Nova, would you mind editing out that spoiler, I haven't played that storyline yet" and "I'm so pissed off what the fuck is wrong with you".

I don't like being spoiled, but at the same time I realize that it inadvertently happens sometimes and that getting super pissed about it is completely counterproductive.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

Well, I am now 120k credits poorer, and my poor Trooper is running around completely naked because I had to sell all her gear for credits.

On the other hand, I bought new boots/pants for Unave, and I finally managed to beat the boss through gratuitous abuse of Saber Ward, Unity, Force Choke, medpacs, and my Heroic Moment (which allowed me to abuse Saber Ward even more). So I have now completed Chapter 1 of my story. Now, to get together a bunch of credits and start playing space missions until I'm around Level 30.

And... if anyone has any spare Aim gear for a group of people around Level 29, it would be appreciated if you would send it to a Republic Trooper called Threeve. <_< And Droid Parts, but all of those increase Aim.

I'll get Faress working on droid parts, although I'm undergoing a shortage of Xonolite right now which has made me slow down crafting level 30-ish armorings and mods for my own alts.  I think at the very worst you might have to settle for level 20-25 stuff, which uses whatever underworld metal is just below Xonolite?  I'll check.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

I'll see about sending you some Xonolite tomorrow. Not today, it's midnight and I stopped playing for the night.

    Also:

I'm pretty sure that Nova wasn't trying to spoil anyone with that post

Just FYI, but I'm currently moving houses. I spent most of yesterday packing, driving and unpacking, dismantling furniture, carrying heavy furniture, and trying to keep a twelve-year-old occupied. Then I stayed up playing TOR until eleven PM.

I was tired. I just forgot that people didn't like spoilers; I wasn't thinking completely straight. A simple "Could you please provide spoiler warnings in future, Nova" would have sufficed, all I needed was a reminder. Sorry.

  • Apology accepted and I'm sorry too for overreacting.

As for the Xonolite, I think I'll actually be able to get all the metal I need before tomorrow, so there's no need for you to worry about it.  I've got my Warrior doing the Underworld Trading in my legacy, and it isn't lack of funds that's slowed me down in getting Xonolite so much as it is the fact that usually the game seems to only have one mission for grade 3 Underworld Metals available at a time, and sometimes it's just a moderate yield.  Which means that when I've wanted to make a mod and armoring to upgrade Quinn's gear, for example, I've usually not been able to do that right away.  But 24 hours should be plenty of time to get what I need.

Normally I'd use the GTN, but this is not a good time to buy the stuff.

  • Okay, Threeve should now have a pair of droid parts, a pair of motors, and a pair of cores to put inside Forex.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

    Yaaaaay.

I can manage a sensor unit and weapons on my own, so thanks for that.

Although I still need armour for Aric, Elara and Threeve. <_<

I'll see what I can do regarding getting moddable armour for them.

Created a custom chat channel. It's called 'Yackfest'.

/cjoin yackfest LocalLightning, if you wanna join.

At the moment, it's restricted to Republic players, but as soon as I can be bothered, I'll create an Imperial version.

Congrats. Want to run some HM flashpoints, or just the Ilum FPs with me some time?
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.

I'll definitely try to line something up there.

This is actually my third 50, and I have yet to actually touch anything remotely endgame.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

I need to play TOR more again.

But bluh, every time I log in I just get bored so easily now.

Ooh I know! Run the end game dailies on Ilum, Belsaviss and the Black Hole and try to run a quick FP and call it a day.

Nova - same for me really. All the good end game stuff is in operations, and PUGs for those ate horrible, and my guild has them scheduled on days I do other stuff.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

    But doing that stuff is half of what causes my boredom ;_;

  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.

but how can I do dailies when I still have five class stories to see

  • I'm a damn twisted person
You should still be able to shuttle to the BH, Ilum and Belsaviss
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
    but the other classes

i have to see them all

On a slightly more serious note, the inquisitor story is... eh. It has a lot of cool moments (like the finale) and I liked the companions, but the actual plot is pretty dumb. There's a lot of blatant railroading, then getting called an idiot for doing whatever you did.

Of the stories I've finished so far, Agent > Knight >>> Inquisitor. Which is a shame, since the Inquisitor storyline should have been awesome. Here's hoping future story improves, since it definitely still has potential.

Next up: Bounty Hunter Powertech. Already spent a stupid amount of money on legacy quality of life stuff for him to make the leveling easier.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

The Inquisitor has the worst storyline of them all. It is consistently shitty, while even the Consular's starts off fairly badly, but improves in later chapters.

  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
Good to know the worst is behind me, then.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

    Exactly!

Unfortunately, with the Agent finished, you also have the best behind you. :(

    Man, the agent story.

I love how it made my characterization of my agent go from idealistic Imperial patriot to
    Spoiler:
"I'm burning this whole fucking Empire to the ground." And then gave me the opportunity to actually potentially follow through.
Plus, it was a pleasant surprise when the way I had decided to RP an event made the story so much better.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

The Agent is fucking great like that.

The Agent is the most... Well, it gives you the most choice out of any of the characters.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
    So...is TOR free yet? >.>
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

    Not until November.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
I'll definitely pick it up then.

Well, I might have to get a second SSD first. But after that.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

So a lot of people have been saying.

I will be glad to be able to skip throwing so much money in when I don't particularly want to play, at least.

I want HK-51 to be released already :(

Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.

i want hk-51 and new warzones and new space missions and the party jawa and everything and and

I'm looking forward to the F2P drop so that there will be more people, mostly.

And I have to say, as mediocre as the Inquisitor story was, the finale was pretty fucking awesome.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

I just want HK-51 because it will be actual new content.

I want Makab for the same reason, although that will get boring quickly.

  • I'm a damn twisted person
I want a new event really. One with a cool title and gear. Just to break up the daily and FP grinding at endgame.

Forzare - party Jawa? You mean the bounty hunter's Jawa companion? Gotta say, the BH story is just kinda okay, but you get a really stellar cast of companions with the BH.
