  • You can change. You can.
Then why post? It's not like we care that you don't want to say anything.
  • Well, actually my mere posting suggests disapproval, without going into detail, because I'm tired after the last argument and don't feel like joining in today.

"4c. If you don't like a thread, and have nothing meaningful to add to it, don't post in it."
  • So can we go back to the topic of the supposed sexism of liking submissive girls?

We got into kind of a Moë derail.

What if you're a submissive guy and you like girls who are similar in personality to yourself?

    Like me?

Admittedly, it would be difficult to make that work.
  • Personally I don't think you're sexist for liking submissive girls. I think you're sexist for other reasons, though.

    (How's that?)

  • Look, be careful, Vortex.

When someone calls me sexist, I think they're comparing me to the guys on Men Going Their Own Way or something similar.

And it's constantly said like I must erase every trace of sexism from my psyche, no matter how impossible said erasure would be.

Anyway, just how am I sexist? I treat women the same way I treat men. I don't think women shouldn't be allowed to vote or drive, nor do I think they should be useless housewives/babymakers. How am I sexist?
  • But you never had any to begin with.
Sexism doesn't come in a single variety...
  • People usually think in extremes. Call someone a sexist and they'll think that you're comparing them to posters on MGTOW or something similar. Words that mean a large spectrum usually tend to be intrepreted to their extremes.

"Oh, and then we have moe, a genre that was invented specifically for
Japanese guys who dislike how independent and strong-willed Japanese
women are becoming--the aesthetic is basically all about fawning over
small, cute, childish girls who are likely to need protection and such.
And don't try to dispute this, anyone, I did my research {the fact that
things like Lucky Star and K-On originated in seinen magazines should be
    enough of a statement here}.
But Lucky Star is from a shounen magazine...

^^ I see you generalise women a lot. You generalise submissive girls in this thread, and I've seen you generalise feminists and feminism in several others.

    > Men Going Their Own Way

    What is this?

    > Sexism doesn't come in a single variety...

    Of course not.

There's original-recipe Sexism, Fat-Free Sexism, Low Sodium Sexism, Sour Cream and Chives Sexism, BBQ Sexism, Salt and Vinegar Sexism, and NEW! Prawn-flavored Sexism!
  • Vortex: Holy fuck, dude. People generalize things. It's a natural trait when dealing with groups. Jesus.
  • Yeah, but you're not supposed to do it.
  • ☭Unstoppable Sex Goddess☭
Remember when I generalized diaper fetishists and christians and you got pissed?
  • You can change. You can.
Vortex: Holy fuck, dude. People generalize things. It's a natural trait when dealing with groups. Jesus.

No, it isn't. Stop doing that.
  • Vorpy there is nothing wrong wiht Diaper fetishists.
  • You can change. You can.
    Missing the point, you are.
  • Dude to each his own.
  • Generalization isn't always bad, sometimes it's useful. Stop generalizing all generalizations.
  • Glenn: Men Going Their Own Way is a forum for men. Obviously. It is also a giant pit of some of the most vile misogyny ever.

Quotes do better than explanations here. Let me warn you: None of these are trolls. They are all serious, real quotes from MGTOW:

    "
Women do not "love" men ... women do not "love" their parents ...
women do not "love" each other ... women do not even "love" their own
children ... actually, women are totally INCAPABLE of "love". Even the
ancients knew and wrote extensively about this unspoken truth. They are
creatures whose sole purpose is self-preservation. Like the shark, they
have small brains, no higher self/consciousness, no shred of humanity,
and yet are masters of survival and have no enemies other than
    themselves.

Only men are capable of this concept we call "love" and this
is a fact, when was the last time you heard of a woman jumping in front
of someone to take a bullet for them?

    Exactly.

Women think ONLY of themselves 24 hours a day 7 days a week in
a rather narcissistic manner, and this mindset is NOT conducive to
    chemical reactions such as "love".

So guys, don't feel bad if women do not "appreciate" your
"kindness", "love", or "personality" ... you are just dealing with a
creature whose walnut-sized brain simply CANNOT process or reciprocate
any of the things I just mentioned. That is all. The creature does not
mean to "hurt" your feelings, what's happening is that your "kindness"
simply does not register with it's ancient reptilian brain. It's
    nothing "personal" really.

In short ... It's not you, it's them!"

    "I feel"

As opposed to "I rationally and objectively think"

Ever since I read about this "I feel" thing I've noticed many many girls say it. And I have never once herd a man say it, ever.

Men don't feel. We analyze data and observe then come to a
logical conclusion. Women make statements backed up by nothing and men
are expected to shut up and deal with it, or give them an intellectual
pass because deep down we know they have the minds of children."

    ......

When you guys call me sexist, I think you're saying I'm as bad as these guys.
  • Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human
    ...what did i just read...

    ...
    ...
    ...
    ...
...Have you tried NEW! Prawn-flavored Sexism yet?
  • Well, you did admit on multiple occasions that you're paranoid, Chagen, so that might have something to do with it. Rest assured, I'm sure no one here is saying you're anything like those guys.

Still, did you really say you don't treat women any differently from men, then admit to generalizing groups relating to women's rights? Maybe I'm wrong and it's just me that thinks this, but that seems a tad bit contradictory.

Glenn: The entire forum is like that. Really. I'm not kidding.

Look into the madness...if you dare.

men, then admit to generalizing groups relating to women's rights?
Maybe I'm wrong and it's just me that thinks this, but that seems a tad
    bit contradictory."

I made those generalizations because I was kinda getting pissed at how everything must have some veneer of sexism in it.

Sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar,

  • I'm thinking, Chagen, that your definition of sexism may be overspecific.
  • As I said, I take it to mean it's absolute extreme.

When someone says "sexism/sexist", I think they mean the kind like in the quotes above. Not mild, barely noticeable sexism.
