excellent pixel art
Nice.
Record #150: Wobbuffett
At this point I have five classic Team Rocket pokémon: Meowth, Arbok, Koffing, Weepinbell, and Wobbuffett.
And I will have a hell of a time training *this*.
And I *almost* ran over the Yanma with a continuous Rollout from Azumarill. But it was saved by its evasion (which it boosted using Double Team).
Also interestingly Bulbapedia says this rematch gives 544 P for winning, but I just got 576 P. Must be a quirk of this hack.

Wobbuffett
Yanma (evolved into Yanmega)
Growlithe (owned by young James)
Ekans/Arbok (let free)

Ditto (other shenanigans)
Trying to define which pokémon they've had is harder than I thought.
I'm finally raising that level cap past 28
My starter has reached its final form!
Record #151: Feraligatr
Now that's a good #151.
Record #152: Kingler
Record #153: Machoke
Record #154: Primeape
anyway...
yet another evolution: Chinchou evolved into Lanturn!
Record #155: Lanturn
Sorry, I couldn't come up with something funny for this one.
(Your LIGHT FISH evolved into LIGHT FISH Mk. II. I guess.)
The madness begins.
(Actually I probably just won't ever use this move. And I don't know of a status that causes one's pokémon to randomly use moves from its current moveset.)
Touch fuzzy, get slowy.
My Flaaffy just evolved into AMPHAROS! Now I have a pokémon just like the one Jasmine takes care of~ <3
And immediately on evolution (level 30), it attempts to learn ThunderPunch. Which is pretty much a direct improvement over ThunderShock except with half the PP.
Record #156: Ampharos
Current party: Remoraid L21, Magnemite L28, Feraligatr L31, Xatu L25, Weepinbell L26, Vulpix L26.
I've never ever before had a party like this.
Also, I now have access to an ice-type move. I thought my first access would come through Shellder but this accidentally happened because I decided to level up Remoraid first.
Also, because BubbleBeam is learned last, it's inevitably the one that gets asked about.
But yeah, Remoraid suddenly becomes a triple-type attacker, with access to water (STAB), psychic, and ice attacks.
Attack types I have access to so far:
Normal (Tackle, Scratch, Pound, Barrage, Horn Attack, etc. etc. etc.)
Fire (Ember)
Water (Bubble, Water Gun, Bubblebeam)
Electric (Thundershock, Spark)
Grass (Vine whip, Razor Leaf, Absorb)
Ice (Aurora Beam)
Fighting (Karate Chop, Low Kick, Rock Smash)
Poison (Poison Sting, Smog, Acid)
Ground (Magnitude, Dig, Mud-Slap)
Flying (Gust, Wing Attack, Fly)
Psychic (Confusion, Psybeam)
Bug (Twinneedle, Fury Cutter)
Rock (Rock Throw)
Ghost (Lick, Shadow Ball)
[Dragon - not yet]
Dark (Bite, Pursuit)
[Steel - not yet]
Record #157: Ursaring
Took several Heavy Balls but whatever. I get them for free anyway.
Its pokédex entry says that it sleeps in treetops. For some reason, though, it's encountered in Dark Cave, which has no trees.
I karate-chopped a teddy bear. It's super-effective.
and it makes awesome sound effects while doing so
the only sub-100% accuracy moves it can ever have are Supersonic (55%), Whirlpool (70%), Toxic, Octazooka, and Screech (85%), and Hyper Beam and Swagger (90%). None of these seem particularly worth wasting a turn to guarantee a hit; this isn't Zap Cannon or even Thunder.
also, oh yeah
Record #158: Octillery
My gun has been upgraded to a cannon.
Somehow using Ember as a level 27 Vulpix on this level 15 Beedrill was not a one-hit KO.
Same thing happened with a level 14 Beedrill. (I'm battling Bug Catcher Wade's second team.)
i forgot about smeargle; just caught one and then walked away because i don't want to have to plan that moveset lol
Record #159: Magneton
that said, my "Team Rocket Trio" is less canonical for the fact that my Meowth is female
Record #160: Jumpluff
Why did I link this?
Because my Tentacool just evolved into Tentacruel.
Record #161: TentacruelLOL NOPE we already caught this thanks to an underleveled tentacruel appearing elsewhereWhy let it learn such a crappy move at such a high level?
Because Wrap replaced Poison Sting, and I already had poison-type coverage from Acid.
