You know what, I'll go ahead and grab Orcs and Men. This is the first Steam sale I've had significant disposable income for, so I might as well get whatever grabs my interest.
On Steam, I think, as an HL2 mod, unless they took it down so they could sell more copies.
Incidentally, the number of games I own on Steam is now 114.
Picked up Sleeping Dogs. If Dark Souls and The Witcher 2 come up as daily deals, I'll have everything I'd be willing to spend on this sale.
Protip for The Witcher 2: Play on easy mode. No, seriously, play on easy mode. I don't care if you're too proud to play games on easy mode, just do it.
Anyway, the one game I'm really hoping for is Dishonored at 50%, but that's probably unlikely before Christmas.
Also SpecOps: The Line, so I can convince people to buy it.
The new flash sales are: Sim City 4, Amnesia, and Tower Wars.
Definitely recommending Amnesia to those who don't have it. Scariest game I've played.
How much off is SC4?
70%. It costs $5.99.
If you like City Builders, you need to buy it.
I haven't played a city building game since...Sim City 3000.
Oh, hey, that reminded me that I wanted Anno 2070. It came out over a year ago, so it must be cheaper now!
-checks-
Nope, 34 dollars on sale.
...
How the hell does Ubisoft even still exist? They're the game publisher that makes other game publishers look like they know what they're doing.
Then you'll like SC4 but its only good modded.
Because they sell shit that costs them like 40p to develop that they overprice?
So are Indie games eligible for daily or flash deals? I saw Terraria up there, but I'm not sure if that game counts as an indie game.
Recettear's pretty awesome. Super Meat Boys's pretty good if you like tough platformers. Unfortunately, it is really shittily programmed. Portal 2's kind of fun, but I don't think it's as good as the original. Seemed to get way too self indulgent at times. And some of the puzzles just revolve around, Find the portal spot!
Terraria is definitely an indie game.
And too late on Portal 2...I already bought it.
I second Recettear being awesome.
Portal 2's not a bad game, I don't think it lives up to the original. Besides, it was as cheap it was gonna get.
It is an indie game? I see. Well my wishlist can wait then. Unless the Autumn Santa decides to come visit me.
Anyone got any recommendations on these games?
^ Don't you already have Terraria?
You can get a Dishonored Steam key for 50% off here.
If you can make that site work. Which I can't right now. Hope it's still available when I return from work
Does that mean I can't be the Avatar anymore?
Only if you end up liking Dishonored more than Ultima.
Damn it, Amazon, why do you let me buy books but not game codes? Is this an attempt to educate me?
So, this is a thing.

-33% is a daily deal?
Defense Grid for $2.49 ($3.99 with DLC) is a pretty good deal.
Also, Dustforce for $4.99 is the exact same price it was yesterday. Feh.
And Steam won't start, again.
I picked up Cogs. Because I'm a geek who likes puzzles.
