    I mean they're clearly far more animal than plant. The plant thing seems to be mostly aesthetic.

    Fire/Electric wouldn't work unless all the starters got something that worked against the others, as electric damages Water and takes less damage from it.
    Torterra is Grass/Ground even though ground is SE against fire. (And on the flipside, Empoleon takes neutral damage from Grass.)

    I knew that, Magcargo was one of my favorite Gen III Pokemon.

    Yes, but I only ever caught them in Gen III. 


    I don't really recall ever seeing one in Gen II in the wild. I saw some with trainers, though. 


    My fault for referring to it as a Gen III Pokemon though.
