I wish you the best of luck with that, Alex.

  • Eep. Sorry to hear that, Alex. Good luck to both of you.

    You can change. You can.
Anyway, up to Lost S2E8. Um...am I supposed to give a shit about Ana Lucia? Because I kind of don't, and I get the impression that the writers want me to.

I'm sorta fond of Ana Lucia but I can see why people don't like her. She's very much the worst part of season 2, tho'

  • There is love everywhere, I already know

I started watching the fifth season of Winx Club and I realized that since my voice got deeper I sound like a drunk idiot while singing a lot to the new theme song (I mean, I could sing it on-key, but the entire thing is just fun and shouty). The episode itself was as mediocre as expected, though.

  • Has friends besides tanks now

So my birthday's coming up, and I know I'll be getting The Way of Kings and some CD's. Only question is, how do I fit the book into my bookshelf? It's already packed. D:

I guess I'll end up taking out the RPG books.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

    Watching more Lost.

I'm almost starting to think Michael is going to turn evil or something, because he's a father who isn't a complete asshole, and it's becoming increasingly obvious that those just don't exist in this setting.

  • if u do convins fashist akwaint hiz faec w pavment neway jus 2 b sur

    Diet NEET

    Godspeed, Alex-bro and Alex's bro.

    Day >6000 in hometown:

    >help out study associaton of ye olde English because old board

    >work is a snooze, make constant puns on being board

    >go to bar for drinks afterwards

    >frighten french roomie because boozed up at 7 in the eve

    >film quiz at frat

    >mentor group is now full

    >quiz makers put in FiM question to out all the bronies

    >worrying number of peeps get it right

    >finally get name of lady who uses 'yolo!' unironically

    >on way home, meet old fellow mentor for English freshers

    >we should goddamn hang out more

    Was that coherent? Probably not.

  • I'm a damn twisted person

Seriously man, start translating works of classic literature into your own brand of speaking. The results would be most amusing, albeit only coherent after getting heavily drunk and binging on 4chan and reddit.

  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!

    ^Or don't. Really, really, don't.

  • Has friends besides tanks now

He's really not that incomprehensible, guys.

Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!

No, but he is incredibly hard to take seriously.

    Loser

I guess it might be hard to figure out what InsanityAddict is saying initially, but eventually it makes sense I think. Anyhow, I just see it as his style. No real reason to criticize people for doing their thing like that, as far as I can tell.

Plus, I find his "babby's first" thing incredibly lolworthy, so much so that I have been trying it out too.

  • You can change. You can.

I don't think it's incomprehensible so much as amusing.

    Imagine Macbeth saying "Brodette"

    just

    imagine MacBeth saying "Brodette"

  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington

Back from vacation! Went to a huge flea market in Virginia and bought stuff. It was fun!

^^ Shakespeare invented a word for being worn out from having too much sex.

  • You can change. You can.

    yes

    but that's not brodette

    now is it?

Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.

Let's face it, Shakespeare was pretty much writing trashy 1600s sex comedies.  I mean, have you ever seen one of his comedies?  Like half the plays are dick jokes.

  • You can change. You can.

    lol "half"

no mention of dying in people's laps?

@Juan: "Wappened" is better than "brodette"!

The key difference between how Shakespeare wrote his trashy sex comedies and how modern writers do lies in the use of language. Most of the play may be dick jokes, but they are generally clever dick jokes.

  • You can change. You can.

but nothing is better than brodette

    just imagine

All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players

    as this

All the world's a stage, and all the bros and dudettes merely players

    you hafta admit

    it's funny

    Here, There, Everywhere

It is. But "wappened" has better applications. Take, for instance: "He returned from the party not wappened but wearied."

  • Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human

    What about "fappened"?

  • I thought Birdemic was pretty boring and not so bad it's good as people said except for the song.

  • Well yeah, but... you're wrong.  So there.

  • Kichigai birthday!!

    Bun bunshaka bun bun bun
