Ica/Milos, from a couple of pages back - This reminds me of a book I was reading recently about The Boxer Rebellion in China. Westerners used to rant on then about "The Yellow Peril". The old stereotypes die hard, it seems.

Tried coffee this morning.
On the one hand, it works.
On the other hand...it's evidently an acquired taste.
I love coffee.
It doesn't really do much to make me not tired though.
It took me a while to go from "oh god why am I doing this to my poor tongue" to "yum coffee."
^It helps to load up on cream and sugar, then ween yourself into the regular stuff.
It's strange because I like coffee but I never drink it. I guess I like Cola Cao more
I drink only Turkish coffee. None of that espresso crap or similar.
I did load up on cream and sugar. That did make it possible for me to finish the cup, and I don't think it was bad, I just think I'll need to ease into it.
