Well, I don't think I half-arsed it, but on the other hand, I was working with aluminium, which is cheaper and more malleable than steel, which made things easier for me.
I meant that you can't simply twist them to open them and then retwist them to close them. Pretty often, chainmail had to be welded/riveted together, which is even more time intensive.
However, they did cheat with making the rings; they would stamp them out of sheets of iron.
Ah, interesting. I didn't k now that; I just knew how it's made today and worked from there >.>
However, I am fairly sure that stamping them out of sheets of iron is still more time-intensive than buying them :P
Well, I did have to wait for them to ship from Canada, but that probably doesn't count :P
And they had to ship in the iron from elsewhere in the country!
Unless they were in like a mining town or something.l
In which case, they're usually busy making not!chainmail.
So I went to Avenger's last night and Selina finally gave birth to her kittens.
This is Loki's doing I bet.
That feeling when you think you may have a great story and then realizing you have no experience in any medium.
PEGASUS FANTASY FUCK YEAH!
I'll try mom's charger tomorrow. If that doesn't work, I kinda hope it's one of those things that can't be fixed, so I have a definite excuse to get a better computer for college. Though we might have had to do that anyway.
Also, I saw the Avengers today. But loliPhone, so I'll post my thoughts beyond "that was an awesome movie" tomorrow. For now, I'm bored.

Stop touching your phone.
I wouldn't have even noticed if GMH hadn't pointed it out.
I just noticed one way to cause people to use your product.
So some sites have this chat thingy/applet/whatever. You can see people actually chatting, in real time, on it, even if you're not using it.
So you go there and type something...then it encourages you to sign up or use an anonymous name.
Instead of telling you to sign in first, it makes you put down something first. Now you're invested in whatever you wanted to do, and that makes you just that little bit more willing to keep on going.
This force isn't really exploited commercially in this example, but I can see it being exploited commercially in other instances.
IT HAS HAPPENED. AFTER I WAITED SO LONG, IT HAS FINALLY HAPPENED.
I HAVE AN ANDROID PHONE.
Another cube draft today. This time I went R/G/w Beats (or rather, R/G with some stuff that uses white mana or plains) and trounced everybody else (except the guy who left early... I think I'll ask somebody else to play his deck vs. mine). It didn't have many burn spells, but it had a lot of fat creatures and stuff to get more mana, so...
Edit: Also, once again I play Iwamori of the Open Fist while my opponent has one of the very few legendary creatures in the card pool in hand.
I don't like Google and I don't like Apple...does that mean I'm stuck with getting a phone with whatever MS OS is for smartphones if I get a smartphone...?
sigh
^Well there's always Windows phones, but those are rather few and far between.
↑↑ Windows Phone 7? Yeah, pretty much.
Ouch. What legend? Was it like Thalia or something else that was worth it, or a dragon or something?
Meloku, though it didn't matter much as he then played Black Sun Zenith with x=1 while I had a Volcanic Hammer in hand. Also, for some reason he thought it'd be a good idea to return 3 out of his 5 or 6 lands on a whim right before it died.
Though here was this one time my opponent had Visara. That sucked.
I installed Zen Bound 2 (among a bunch of other games) on my new phone, and my sister's gotten somewhat addicted to it. I'm currently downloading the Windows installer so that she can play it on her computer instead.
OK dudes should I join BTL?
^It's far different now from the site people talked about in hushed tones, so go ahead.
