They're not actual lightsabers, but they're the closest thing that we can actually make, because real lightsabres don't work according to the laws of physics.
...Actually, thinking about it, maybe the reason why Lightsabres can work in the first place is due to the force, using it to make the light work like that
The Force is magitech?
I don't think so; if it were they could have built General Grievous to have it.
Neither have I >.>
Forzare, we appear to have a 2/3 majority, so you'll have to unwatch it to match up with us :P
I'd imagine the Force would be the 'magic' part of magitech. And you can't build a Droid to be force-sensitive. Yet.
^Well, Grievous technically isn't a droid :P
You're both dead to me.
Silence of the Lambs is a good movie, but I always had this feeling that it's kinda underrated outside of Hopkins' performance. Foster is really damn good in her role, really.
I'm really lazy about watching movies. We've been over this.
Heh, I just remembered my first time watching Silence with a coupla friends. I was really into music back then and seriously thought I'd be a musician of some sort. Then I pretty much forgot about that except for the mild guitar skills that help for relaxation and shit.
^^You said that last time we went over this :P
^ dead
I'm reading all of Forzare's posts in Fluttershy's voice and that makes this conversation hilarious.
Decided to root my phone, but I was a bit scared that it wouldn't work properly.
Luckily, it did. Woo!
I haven't seen Silence of the Lambs either
...I still imagine that it has to do with a lamb at some point
^^ I keep wanting to root my phone, but...well, it's a Samsung Replenish, so I'm not sure it can even handle doing anything beyond what it already does.
^ I haven't seen it either. I know little about it, but I imagine I would find myself rooting for the killer...
Making TheConductor's World Famous Bachelor Eggs today...should I post the recipe in the old cooking thread?
Mmmmm, sure.
I think I like stoic!Ally Connolly more than cute!Ally Connolly. This may be similar to my liking stoic!Fate Testarossa more than motherly!Fate Testarossa.
Best Fate is season 1 Fate.
No opinion on Ally Connolly because I haven't seen Element Hunters.
Facebook app requests in Chinese: forever a mystery.
^^ See it. It's a nice show.
I'll probably watch it after my computer gets fixed (or I buy a new one). For now though, I only have access to a computer to watch downloaded videos on weekends. When I'm at school I only have an XBOX 360 (and possibly a Wii if I decide to bring it with me tonight), so I can really only watch streams, and I'm not going to watch any unofficial streams of anime, because in my experience it's too much of a hassle for too little gain (bad quality, random episodes hard to find, etc.).
Unrelatedly, I'm not sure I like the singers from AKB48 as seiyuu. I'm sure they're good singers, but they don't seem to be so good at voice acting.
Basically, I owed more than I had, even if I mortgaged all my property. So, remembering that you can sell mortgaged property, I mortgaged it, then sold it all to my sister and mom for the remaining $39 that I owed, JUST to keep my dad from getting it (he usually wins even when everybody gangs up on him)
Also, I learned that railroads are far more valuable than they seem (I landed on three of them after I had sold my two to my dad, giving him all four, in the span of four-five moves)
TL;DR - Before Mario Party, Monopoly tore apart families and friends
From the past two episodes of Smile Precure, it's like Yayoi and Miyuki are competing to see who's the bigger otaku. On one hand, Yayoi has more stereotypical otaku interests (games, comics, etc.) and currently seems to not realize that life is not a video game, BUT Miyuki seems more passionate about her love for a fictional character than any other Precure is about anything. So...
>Class deals heavily with othering and interculturality
>Case studies for final essay also mention vidya as possibility
Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn should be workable, especially since most support convos and dialogue can be easily linked via the internets.
