  • ^^ Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha + Kannazuki No Miko + general SHAFTiness

    Not very mindfuckey though.

  • You can change. You can.
The surrealism at the beginning of the show was fairly offputting. Granted, the plot itself is not hard to follow.

^^^ At first I read that as Ghost of Christmas Failure
  • So did anything ever happen with the Literary Analysis site AOD was working on? Is it still in the planning stages?

    You can change. You can.
Nonexistent stages. Turns out that we never agreed on anything. A shame.

ETA: Granted, I left early on because of personal matters and because I thought that most of my contributions were already done, so I don't know how accurate that statement is.
  • I'm sorry to hear that. The idea was something that I haven't really seen elsewhere on the internet, and I was looking forward to seeing how you guys were going to go about it (and hopefully learn something about literary analysis in the process.)
  • You can change. You can.
I was really interested in it, but I think that much of the interest went away the moment most of us started to stop caring about SA's and TvT's feud. Which I guess is for the better, because a wiki made out of spite would have been as boring as the mirror wiki.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
I just got my early access to TOR, as thanks for preordering it.

Which is odd, because I didn't preorder it.
  • But you never had any to begin with.

^^ All you have to do is give them cookies though. Then they'll love you forever 8D

Where would a Predator get cookies from?!

^ From us of course! 8D

Also, I found this bit on TVTropes. One word potholes to Incredibly Lame Pun. Try to guess the word:

To be specific, it will attack solely with high-powered lightning
spells. It still retains its weakness however, so if you use a Lunar
Curtain to give your party Reflect status, it'll only murder itself.
  • But you never had any to begin with.
    Er... be?

In other news, I have moved on from hating xenomorphs.

'Murder' was the word potholed to Incredibly Lame Pun

    ...I don't get it either

    And GAH THE KELP FOREST IS SO CONFUSING IN AQUARIA AND I DON'T KNOW WHICH WAY TO GO AND I WANT OOOOOOUUUUUUTTTTT ;.;
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
Save splash damage stuff for facehuggers. Adult Aliens, depending on the game, should be handled with weak plasma caster shots (AvP2) or a combination of low cost projectile combat and close combat.

It is possible to win most of AvP1999 and AvP2010 with the wristblades against Aliens. In fact, due to the conservation of energy and resources this entails, it's often the best way in the long run.

We Played Some Open Chords and Rejoiced, For the Earth Had Circled the Sun Yet Another Year
Batman: The Long Halloween  is a seriously awesome Batman story and not really much else, TBH.

    Still, pretty awesome.
  • You can change. You can.
grrrrr. i really wish people stopped liking that story.
  • We Played Some Open Chords and Rejoiced, For the Earth Had Circled the Sun Yet Another Year
    why?
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
Because it barely makes any sense. It's pretty and has some good character moments, but it's too condensed with villains that are just there to be there.

Also, JMS' Spider-man sucked, Frank Miller's Daredevil is a B+ at best, and the best part of the Buffy comic was written by Brian K. Vaughn not Joss Whedon.

eh, the villians were honestly just part of the scenery for me. I was much more interested in the hunt for the Holiday killer and the Falcone/Maroni conflict to bother paying much attention to them.
  • Dan Slott's Amazing Spider-Man >>>>>>>>>>>>> JMS's.

    JMS's Superman....icky.

    Why are pimples fun to pop? ;.;
  • You can change. You can.
My problem with it is how utterly reference-filled it is at times. It feels almost as if Loeb tried to jutify the story he was telling with Miller references as if Miller was everything Batman should be and more.

Not only that, but the whole thing is just there to make the Calendar Man look somewhat good and interesting by making him a Riddler knock off.

Frank Miller's Daredevil is a B+ at best

I'd say that Born Again is the only solid A- thing Miller has written.
  • New haircut, now with 20% more curl.
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
I'd say his best work is actually Year One, but even that had the retarded Hooker Catwoman idea.

Also, I really don't like cleaning my toilet... >_>

It's funny how Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds spells LSD

Yes I knew about this for a while. No this isn't one of my stupid moments where I have just realized something obvious

Edit: Speaking of, this is the first time I've been tired enough to see a realistic night sky spin around when I close my eyes

    Wheeeee!
  • Still one of the most awesome scenes in any cartoon ever.
