"Earthquakes." Ray said. "Earthquakes would be bad. In any case, I think we should not let the noises make us jittery but caution is always good."
The cave they found themselves in was enormous. The light from Snow and Phillip was bright enough to shed light tens of metres in front of them, but even that was just barely enough to be able to make out the outline of rocky flowers and stalagmites- the walls were simply too far away to see.
They would have to be careful. With only a very dim light source, they would have trouble spotting any Pokemon before they attacked.
Greg keeps alert, but keeps walking.
Littorio follows next to him, with Chitter, not yet used to him, a bit farther off to the side.
Ray keeps alert as well, letting Castle out of his pokeball in case any sudden actions were needed.
The resulting flash of brightness is, perhaps, too bright. It is too brief to see anything by, and the brightness is enough to throw your dark-vision off for a few moments.
Greg covers his eyes.
"Ow."
"Gah!" Carrie removed her glasses to rub at her eyes. "Don't do that!"
Ray was a bit bust sputtering and cursing. "Don't do that again! We're more vulnerable now than we were beforehand!"
"Well, then. Let's just hope no pokemon in here were too offended by that."
"Let's just settle for our current lighting and make our steady way to Cerulean." Ray responded.
Snow began to do so
Greg keeps walking. "Well, it's too dark to see the walls, so...forward?"
"Somebody place a hand on the wall so we don't go in circles." Ray suggested.
"Perhaps a migration is in effect for the season." Ray offered, not being all that bothered by the lack of pests. He remembered a couple had made a nest in his attic a months weeks ago.
