This makes you my bro Ian. Also, having protagonists who aren't whiny brats is a plus (the one time Zidane gets whiny everyone tries to snap him out of it, because it's a very OOC moment for him).
And FF5's job system is both very fun and boss.
Also, its GBA translation is loads better than even the fan translation. Granted, I'm the same guy who likes Over-Time's pop culture references in its toku subs.
because if I wait to put it off, then I'm already past the point I need
it at.
Protip: Mastering a job means that when you use Freelancer or Mime with that person again, you don't need to equip their passive abilities. Find Passages counts as such. It's also why I recommend at least one person masters Geomancer - being able to find floor traps and immunity from damaging floors is very useful by the late game.
^^^^ How can anyone not like Gilgamesh Morphin' Time though?
With that out of the way: Games are (meant to be) fun. If someone has fun using a walkthrough (or not using a walkthrough is stopping them having fun) then that's okay. If working out the entire game by themselves is what what they find fun, that's okay too.
Yep, I tend to agree. Plus, using a guide for games like Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon that are more open-ended makes sense to me since it might actually add more replay value to those games and is pretty distanced from cheating in the traditional sense.
I think altering a game using Action Replay and such crosses the line a bit for me, but only really when you use it for a competitive advantage. For example, I am not a fan of cheating using a device to breed and train Pokemon that one will use in an actual competition rather than EV training them the normal way.
Though, a lot of actual competition takes place over Pokemon Online, which bypasses all this. So it's mostly moot.
YES YOU ARE ALSO A BRO. I sincerely hope they get a 3DS remake, they're overdue.
Of the ones I played, FF4 held my interest for over an hour and a half,
so I'd have to call it the best, or at least the least bland.
Gameplay-wise the GBA and DS versions are the best because they offer customization.
So, I'm looking at the wikipedia page for the sequel to FF4 and...what the hell? 3700 wii points (I think that's $56 buying points cards) for the full game...or roughly $60 (could've sworn I saw it for half that at EB once) for the full game + an extra scenario and the original FF4 on PSP.
