    Flapping mouths and things like that aren't really a problem (for me, anyway) when you're watching subbed anime; you're too busy looking at the words to look at their mouths.


    That's probably why I never noticed the "side-mouth" thing until someone pointed it out to me.

    To me, it's kinda like watching 50s movies. The effects are bad, but that doesn't detract from the story.

    Flapping mouths without chin movement is not a problem for me even when I'm watching non-subbed animé because the chin really doesn't move that much in real life, unless you're YELLING LIKE CRAZY!!!!!!!.

    Like, I actually don't really care.
