  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
Insanity: Ah ok, it seems all the memetic yanderes except for Yuno are in super-boring harem animes. (sigh)
  • Maybe Higurashi? Although that probably misses the obsessive-love angle.

  • Kichigai birthday!!
The only Yandere there is Shion during that arc I'm too lazy to look up. The one where she stabs Satoko
  • He who laments and can't let go of the past is forever doomed to solitude.
Rin, no, Kaede. And the anime goes for another chick's route, anyway.
  • I tried watching subs for a while, but I sorely missed being able to understand the vocal inflections that come with being familiar with a language. It doesn't help that a lot of the time, the translators are only interested in translating the words rather than the idea behind them.

But yeah, dubs just look really awkward with live-action, since body language isn't localized.

  • An ANN review

Why do you trust Anime News Network so much?  I mean, for reviews.  Just curious.
  • Well, it is good for getting anime news.

I can use Sankaku for the seedier news (and to laugh at pathetic racist/sexist Otaku) if I take it for a grain of salt.
  • Well like I said I mean for reviews.  Because you seem to refer to ANN reviews pretty frequently in discussions.
  • Because it actually has decent reviews usually?
  • For live action, like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon then I use subs, because live action dubbing is ridiculous.

For cartoons, like DragonBall, then it's dubs all the way man. If I wanted to READ DragonBall, then I'd buy the comics. Saying that, I think this is just my excuse because I find it difficult to follow both the text and the action. I think if it was slower paced cartoon, the Spirited Away I'd watch with Subs. MAYBE.
