    I usually prefer subs over dubs, but if the dub is of good quality then I'll take it.

    I've nothing against subs, (in fact I often watch them) but sub snobs can be more than a little annoying to me.

    I agree that dubs generally don't work on live action. For animated stuff, I guess I have a mild preference for dubs, but either way is fine.

    I only dislike dubs in anime when the dubs themselves are actually horrific. Clannad, besides being offensively boring, had some of the worst dubbing I've heard in this enlightened weeaboo era.

    An ANN review said the anime was generic ecchi-harem, though. Without the porn. 

    I mean, why watch the anime? You don't even get a badly drawn reward for suffering through the cliches!

    Ah, TV Tropes states it as the most noticeable difference between the anime and the game.

    I tried watching Ghost in the Shell with both dub and subs (translated separately) in the same language at the same time. It was maddening.

    I love putting the subs while watching the dubs so I can compare them.
