The code of chivalry is, in my mind, mostly good
And as far as I can tell, it would be ok if you gave someone a beat down if they tried to pull some sneaky crap on you. If they are stooping to that level, then use enough force to show them why that's a bad idea

Didn't Glorious Edward do that?
who
Funnily enough, far too many of the atheists who go to that site end up holding immutably to the idea that God cannot exist, basically violating that anyway.
D'AWWW LOOK AT THE LITTLE KITTY IT IS GOING •ω• D'AWWW!
^^Very true. Atheism isn't a religion but some atheists can be really damn dogmatic.
Oh man, I;m almost as old as Megaman
i wanna murder something
^^ Well, it has been 25 years. You try looking as young as you did 25 years ago.
Fucking Capcom
tl;dr: People would pay for things if digital distribution wasn't awful.
Does the MPAA have an email address? I want to send this to someone in the movie industry.
I know they'll ignore it, but it's worth a shot...
It is an awesome idea.
I would spend way, way too much money on that.
I think the problem is the "Distribute every movie bit". Even accounting just for Hollywood, there's tons of money and effort to spend in there if only to accomplish halfway of that, let alone all of it.
I'd be up for it, of course, but it's one of those things that tend to forget how utterly complicated copyright and the film industry are.
destroy capitalism
problem solved
I don't think the "distribute every movie" bit is necessary, really. I mean, Steam doesn't distribute every game.
Not technically, but not only does it distribute some of the undeniably best modern games, it distributes classics of years past for ridiculously low prices.
With that said, everyone get Jedi Academy and let's all have a huge lightsaber bash.
>Me playing something people like unironically
ahahahaha oh god, you must be stoned
Play it ironically, then! >
Very nearly all video games that interest me are not available on Steam.
Steam would probably be on that Eastern games thing if most of them weren't one of the following:
- Console-exclusive
- MMORPGs
- Lacked significant multiplayer (although a good handful of great Western games lack this, too)
- Considered inherently creepy in format
Personally, I'd love to have Steam connectivity with Monster Hunter. It would be the bestest IJBM community game.
I should play Jedi Outcast again sometime.
Ah, the memories of slaughtering bots by the hundreds using the Trash Compacter and Death Star's superlaser...
Jedi Academy...eeeeeh.
Jedi Academy's campaign wasn't as good, but the game mechanics that made Outcast so great are still there in full force.
