If you just look at the orange slipper she's wearing (in the last picture) it seems there are two eyes underneath some sort of hair, making the whole thing look like a muppet.

Okay what I did learn actually is that Stable cannot differentiate between "fat", "chubby", "overweight" or even "slightly [fat]" etc and it translates them all as "morbidly obese".

This may need a separate thread now.




Also "heavy beard" seems to translate as "he is shouting".

(For the record, I didn't find it particularly funny nor inducing any other emotions; it was just non-amusing in a boring way to me. I don't really get what's funny about it; @lrdgck should feel free to chime in as well with his own take.)

I like AI art. It's fun. I don't know if I would consider it "real" art though. It makes for good content, and the internet always needs more content.

I don't know who that is, but some black people in the U.S. have surprisingly light skin colors. Examples include Doug Wilder and G.K. Butterfield. Skin color, family lineage, and social ideas of race can get pretty weird. Also possibly why some people prefer "African-American".

I get from her mass of hair (most of which is like, fake) that she's probably mixed-race and judging by her hobbies extremely, extremely rich.

GMH is somewhat right re:race but a lot of these NYT articles where race stuff is super weird are just about mixed-race kids who are too rich to have any actual problems.

I'd be hesitant to say this (which ironically smacks of that same "check your privilege" sentiment that I doubt you're fond of). A lack of severe financial constraints, perhaps, though if experience has taught me anything, everyone has their own problems to deal with, even if some of them might seem pointless or insignificant or easily solvable to an onlooker. And a good number of them often have to do with the social perceptions of (or more broadly, interactions with) others.
