    Do we need more people?

Look at what a huge influx of new members did for TVT's forums. IJBM would still be there if it was just us.
  • ʍɥɐʇ po ʎon ɔɐll ɐ ɾoʞǝ ʍıʇɥonʇ ɐ dnuɔɥlıuǝ
Hyperbole: it's the greatest thing ever!
  • You can change. You can.
^^ Again, not all of us agree with the notion that the TvT forums suck in the first place. And we really should stop bitching about both them and their current state.
  • I am indeed aware this will be thumped...probably.
Are there even any mods online right now? It seems like half the time this place is left pretty much unsupervised

(In case it's not clear, I'm not saying that's a good thing)
  • I've got a warning conversation thing which included all the mods.  Everest made it for me.  He actually gave me a way to simultaneously contact all the mods on the site at will. I could probably use it to find out if any of them are online....... mostly by... y'know..... typing "ARE ANY OF YOU ONLINE?!" into the conversation and seeing if I get a response....

... Not sure how they'd feel about that. But I figure it must be alright or I wouldn't have been gifted a conversation with all mods. ^_^  ... It is just like the bat-signal.

    Diet NEET
    MODS ARE ASLEEP

    POST PERSONAL ATTACKS

In all seriousness, you don't need mods on 24/7. You can also expect the users to step out of a discussion if it crosses a certain line and just PM a mod while leaving the discussion to itself.
  • ^^^Why does it seem that way to you?

(I haven't been here much lately, if you can tell)
  • Honestly though, the more we talk about what we do when mods aren't around.... the more suspicious Cygan is going to be when she comes back later.
  • You can change. You can.
Because of the drama. And well, have you seen any mods post in the last five mins?
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
    Glenn.
  • I'd rather have more problem posters than less posters in general. At least problem posters make the place sort of interesting.

    (Thumped for personal attack)

Problem posters do that, but they also make it more irritating. It's kind of weird, the way I think about it, seems almost doublethink-y.
  • Because you never know what you might see.
    >problem posters

You are English Ivy and I claim my £5.
  • ^^ It makes the site more interesting 20% of the time and more irritating the other 80%.
  • ^ What he said.

Also I read "20% of the time" and thought of "20% cooler" but who cares
  • Then spend 20% of the time here and do other things the other 80%.  -_-;
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
I'm not sure having 80% increase in problem posters/irritability would be that good.
  • I wouldn't mind. :3
  • ^^^ It doesn't work like that.

"Im scheduled to be irritating on IJBM from 2 to 6."
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
If you want 80% more irritability catch thrush. :D
  • Inkywinky...  everything written throughout the day is committed to semi-permanence here... You can pick and choose what you want to look at... what you want to spend your time on. So don't be telling me it doesn't work like that.
  • You can change. You can.
    Then spend 20% of the time here and do other things the other 80%. -_-;

It's what I used to do. And it's thinking like that what makes this board so annoying at times. the whole "Let's shitpost like nobody's business"

I don't have anything against shitposting, but I sometimes want to discuss something and  I don't want some idiot going all "LOLSHIPTOST PFFTDSNMDSXAZL O LULZRS", you know?

    Inb4 U Mad?
  • Did someone say "shiptost"?

Because I think I heard someone say "shiptost".
  • You can change. You can.
It's OK, Bobby, you're neat when you want to. I wish you wanted to be neat more often, though. -shrug-

Anyway, my idea is simply that there's no point in having problem posters as we call them. they make discussion shitty, and they tend to be unfunny as fuck, so why bother?
  • ship-toast?

Is that clinking glasses because two characters got together?

Or is it cooked bread on a large boat?

I'm totally hoping for cooked bread on a large boat...  =3

Why be neat when being dirty is so much fun? >:3

Anywho, I think y'all are looking at this the wrong way. You can't just assume that most of the people we could attract would be problem posters. I highly doubt it'd be anywhere near 80%.
  • Would they make ship-toast for me?  o_o?
