I think I had a crush on a sockpuppet a while ago.

I thought it was on the troper that operated the sockpuppet, or the character the sockpuppet is based on, but then I felt like it was neither of those things so I guess it must have been a crush on a sockpuppet.

Though, it's possible I'm wrong about that.
