am not ranting because I'm a pissed-off Virgin. I have no interest in
physical sex right now and can wait for as long as possible. Which would
be a good idea, because knocking up some 15-year-old classmate would be
a really fucking stupid idea."
...and you do realize there are such things as condoms, right?
Not trying to pressure you into sex or anything, but your choices aren't celibacy or knocking someone up.
No your religion doesn't forbid it. In fact I'd say it almost encourages it:
Besides, you don't think fun is good?
I like fun. However, promiscuity is not fun to me at all, especially given the high value I place on sex.
As for condoms, I am well aware that they exist. However, I would prefer celibacy anyway.
don't think this being exists. It does to me, and to me, I believe its
statements."
" My religion forbids it. That's all the explanation I need."
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."
Seriously. Stop ignoring this. Tell me why this isn't hypocritical.
Can one love multiple people one person at a time?
It's definitely a nice thing to have shared interests.
However, it's unrealistic to expect someone to have the exact same interests.
What is probably far more important is that you and your significant other are both open-minded about each other's interests.
Unfortunately, each person's idea of "fun" is different. I would love to spend an entire day playing Castlevania games but would not love to spend an entire day playing Puerto Rico (the board game). Would you agree with me on either of those counts?
@Chagen: Yes, it would really help if you didn't react as strongly to everything. This being an internet forum where no one can see you in real life, this is probably a good place for you to practice things like not reading too hard into people's posts, and not generalizing people when you don't need to.
but we should still PURGE THE HERETIC. I once saw him say that he considers the entire Old Testament non-canon.Key words in that sentence are "to me". It's fine if you don't want to be promiscuous, but don't get up in everyone else's panties for wanting to be promiscuous.
(Also, to everyone else: how do I shot quote?)
