Many IJBMers browse a modified version of the Vanilla Forums every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of Vanilla Forums which is widely used today is often called IJBM, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically Vanilla Forums, developed by Vanilla.
There really is an IJBM, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. IJBM is the website: the place in the system that processes and stores the posters' messages for the other users to read. The website is an essential part of a forum, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete social platform. IJBM is normally used in combination with the Vanilla Forums system: the whole system is basically Vanilla Forums with IJBM added, or Vanilla Forums/IJBM. All the so-called IJBM versions are reallly versions of Vanilla Forums/IJBM!

I don't actually know how likely they are to discontinue the Windows desktop OS product line altogether, though I certainly wouldn't like it if it required an internet connection to do anything.
(That said, if I wanna think optimistically, I wouldn't mind a Windows OS that took out a lot of bloat of built-in applications and bells-and-whistles to make a barebones OS but still allowed the user the flexibility and freedom install their own software and customize their computer as much as they want locally.)
