I voted for the Socialist Equality party since it doesn't matter what I vote for in California.
Aside from that, just waiting to see who gets the honor of mis-managing this country.
^^ That's why I've figured out which party is most likely to (1) support ideas that I support (as policies, not just personal opinions), and (2) actually have some ability to get them implemented.
As anyone remotely familiar with the political scene these days regarding environmental policy knows, right now, that is by far the Democratic Party.
It helps that they're also philosophically supportive of helping others rather than being jerks to others, when it comes to willingness to help others economically or to grant them rights--basically, more willing to civilly grant others the benefit of the doubt, as opposed to be extremely suspicious of others and justify very self-centered behavior by that (the "omg why are you benefitting from my tax dollars" stupidity).
My ballot:
Edit: photo links removed due to possible legal issues with Virginia state law.
Isn't sharing your ballot illegal?
I thought it was.
Anyway I'm going to vote later today. I'll walk myself to the polls if I have to.
Hmm, this is interesting.
So apparently I'm not allowed to show you these pictures if you're within 40 feet of a polling place. Hunh.
I'll remove the links until after the election, then.
I couldn't vote for Obama because of how things played out in my life because one of the provisions of obamacare. they only cover charged after 3 days in the hospital, my grandmother broke both arms, stayed in two days and was moved out by a doctor despite everyone else saying that she should stay longer, and she spent a month in convalesce housing. We have no money for this, we got our state senator to get involved but the response we got was "laws are laws."
That and the fact that Verizon is going to cut off from its health-care, and the public option that will be available to use won't cover nearly what we need to do, I honestly felt that we were screwed either way. Its just that Romney would fuck us with no lube.
I voted and as I have said I will not tell you who I voted for, though I for one welcome our stretchy gum-gum mormon overlord.
not like my vote matters anyways since I don't live in a swing state.
I voted. That's all I have to say.
Don't talk shit about mah gum-gums. >:[
Meanwhile, I don't remember if my school's Democratic Club registered me for Pennsylvania or not, so I don't know if I'm in any position to go out and vote. And by the time I realized that election day was coming, it was much too late to send my absentee ballot back to Maine.

DON'T BE DRINKIN' THAT HATERADE.
Also I have no idea how this thread turned into anime talk, but I voted.
woooo
I love Hiroyuki. I haven't read that doujin though, since I don't know/care about Type-Moon stuff.
Also I guess I voted.
Also, I still don't get why you're comparing Luffy to Romney, personal biases aside.
YO HO HO! HE TOOK A BITE OF GUM-GUM!
Okay, I won't go there.
Because Luffy is elastic and Mitt Romney was also compared to mister fantastic.
oh
It's actually a joke about how much he looks like Reed Richards, who also has rubber powers.
I have to admit that the joke was a bit of a... stretch.
HAVEN! I mean MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARUKU!

Officially?
Yes.
