What the hell are you talking about
Avengers is for MEN
It's basically a silly comedy show going through tropes on tvt and explaining them in a fictional context.
it's kinda lame but whatever, tropes are pretty much babby's first storytelling class.
^what about the wasp
Hey, did all the fonts just become like two sizes smaller, or is it just me?
So it's like most web series really.
Everything seems OK from here
Try Ctrl + 0
^Yeah that's better, thanks.
No worries.
Hrrn. To X-Men or not to X-Men. that is the question
Well, children's video games and card games, I'll grant, but I'll have you know that--
Wait. I'm a One Piece fan. Well, I can't disprove that claim.
Wasp is the manliest woman alive.
that's carol danvers, puncher of things
but to not x-men leads to despair, whereas to x-men leads to despair
it's just that they are different kinds of despair
(seriously, i hate how morrison's run can't have one fixed artist. tis annoying)
Why would you not X-Men?
My dad thinks we'd be better without any technology at all >.>
Having no technology at all would make human beings less advanced than dolphins, so, um... nope.
Not...really? I mean, have you heard of some of the stuff dolphins do just as part of their lives? I doubt they're sentient, but if someone proved they were, I'd be calling for them to all be exterminated because they would then be evil incarnate. Seriously.
I tried to explain what my point was but I don't think I had a point.
How about this instead: no technology means no civilization whatsoever. And while I guess technically someone might think that it'd be a good thing if there was no civilization at all, I suspect Icalasari's dad is not such a person and instead just doesn't really understand what a broad term "technology" is.
Yeah, fair enough.
Dolphins just creep me the hell out >.>
I think it's an exaggeration to say that technology = civilization. Or at least, the implied use of technology by luddites, anyway (as in, TVs and computers. Not, like, wheels and shit, which are tech, mind you)
Even considering what he means, well, he doesn't seem to get what modern day technology has allowed and how fucked we'd be without it
Glad you had fun at the concert, Malk!
leave
leave before malk eats your guts
also, blah, if i see another "Superman sucks because he's overpowered abloobloo" argument i swear i'll just like
punch the internet
right in the jaw
Hey, if you want to get technical, I've been warned even more times and have actually been banned before. I keep being pretty sure that I'm headed for a permaban, but whatever, I've been just trying to ragequit anything that irritates me these days so that I don't get in any more trouble.
We have a vast and storied history.
Have you seen the Drama Chronicles thread? It should probably have filled you in about most of this.
then punch them in the cock for me
tumblr.
i even made the dumb decision of following the superman tag, even though it's basically
very few sometimes.
So thoughts about the Maiden concert.
Under normal circumstances I'd ream out Everest for his usual Everestian taste but I'm too high on Maiden (and the pot the dude next to me was smoking) to care.
I've been to Maiden twice and it was great both times. A lot of bands understandably sound a bit worse live than they do on record, but Maiden carries the heavy metal tradition of exceeding the quality of the recorded albums extremely well, even into their fifties. I remember the first time in particular; they opened with Aces High, which is possibly the best opener they could've chosen. Apparently Melbourne was one of the loudest crowds they had on either of their recent tours that hit Australia. I'm sort of proud of that.
Incidentally:
She seems pretty interesting. Any recommendations on good starting points for people unfamiliar with her? Comixology is down due to Loki, though, so it'll be awhile before I can actually buy anything.
Avengers 200, right?
Man I've been wanting to go to a Maiden concert like crazy, but my parents are the "You're gonna get high on weed and then steal a car and then like become the incarnation of crime" kind of parents.
^I actually asked around just about two days on the comics thread. I think I've heard good things about her solo series (Specifically the second volume by Brian Reed) but that's about it
I kinda liked The Mighty Avengers Ultron arc, but I think the cartoon did it much better
Speaking of, the cartoon has a great Carol. Sadly, it takes her two seasons to join the team. But she's still pretty cool in there
