Reflega was the only good spell in that game. Everything else was solved via punching it with a key.
Clubbing it with a key.
Or cutting.
Nothing like looming deadlines to light a fire under my writing skills...
I have to make a sound based assignment that describes/problemitizes/etc. me perfectly
It is due tomorrow
>.< WHY AM I SUCH A BAD PROCRASTINATOR!?
The trouble with Jack Nicholson's Joker is that I got the impression that he was a Joker cosplayer rather than actually the Joker.
You forgot the healing spell for when you fucked up Juan. Gravity had crowd control applications too, but that was about it.
I thought he was too much of a clown and not enough of a criminal. there needs to be a balance.
Ledger has the reverse problem, but it fits nolan's film, so it doesn't detract and instead adds to the experience
Curaga was pretty good when you needed it, but potions tended to be easy to come by and healed me enough to not lose, most of the time.
I loved Ledger's Joker
It just... He made the Joker seem down right insane!
Nicholson, not Ledger obviously
Ledger's Joker wasn't insane to me. Or, like, not as insane as I'm used to, when it comes to the Joker, anyway.
He seemed more like a particularly nasty terrorist. Which is what he was, of course
Oh he was insane. Just not particularly manic. It was that kinda quiet, controlled crazy that keeps springing into action after a misdirection of being harmless babble.
Gravity wasn't in Kingdom Hearts II.
I'm pretty sure it was, wasn't it
meh, it's not like KH is particularly memorable outside of the boss battles so whatever.
No, it wasn't. They had a similar spell called Magnet, though.
No.
So I was reading this xkcd thread about the Bechdel test:

It occurred to me that the feminists here didn't explain their underlying theories very well; they just sort of assumed that their opponents knew about sexism being less an individual thing and more of a societal thing, or else they thought that concepts like that were so obvious that they didn't need explaining.
Because most of the time when people are talking idealology there are some basic assumptions that the other person knows the basics or can find a primer for the basics of the ideas being discussed. Because really, people want to get on with the chatter and not explain the same thing over and over whenever they talk about something.
This has been a very busy and productive month for me. I've played 10 of 16 regularly scheduled masses this month at the church where I play the organ (and electric keyboard) for their masses. Plus three funeral masses. That's the good part. The bad part is that I've had to struggle with a bunch of applications, and this is not going to end with February as a bunch of places have deadlines between March 1 and April 1.
Today, I rediscovered the charm/epicness/greatness of the Chrono Trigger soundtrack.
/me is listening to: [][05 Memories of Green][]
@MadassAlex: Beethoven is considered classical; even Schubert is, dude.
And here's a picture of Eri Mizutani: http://safebooru.org/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=175999
So I can't play Homeworld 2 because I accidentally set the resolution too high and now I can't change it, and none of the fixes that are meant to work are working.
Fuckin' a.
*lines everything up perfectly. Somehow a piece is longer despite being spliced RIGHT INTO THE BASE PIECE OF THE LONGER TRACK THEN HAVING THE OTHER TRACK PIECE SILENCED SO IT IS THE EXACT LENGTH*
DIOHSOCHIOJSFHDSDI WTF AUDACITY!?

Ugh, so my dad told me to wait on getting Selina to the vet because money's tight now.
The thing that bugs me is that on Friday he took Mariana out for a shopping spree that probably could have covered the vet.
I mean I know I might be over-reacting, but Selina's just a baby...
That only applies to the first one, and to be honest, I did enjoy both one and two, but...guh, two's simplicity kinda grated on me. When you can beat a game only pressing X and Triangle, then you need to do something about your game design, mang.
Xaldin says hi.
I keep hearing about Xaldin and Skinny Sniper Dude being hard, but I didn't feel they weren't, although Xaldin was the only one who made me use Mickey Mouse, which I didn't even know it was a thing till I got there, so...I guess he's harder than the rest, but that's like saying that you're the smartest person in IJBM: Doesn't mean shit
I'd like to get into #yackfest. Anyone know of a good IRC client? Mibbit is shit, and I can't get the Firefox one to work.
I use Pidgin, myself, but it's quite mediocre as an IRC client. The advantage is that you get to have all of your accounts in one place and thus it's easy to handle.
There's also X-Chat and Ice-Chat, but they're too ugly for my taste. Irssi's the best, for some reason i don't understand for i know shit about programming
I use X-Chat. X-Chat for Windows is currently pay-to-use but oddly also open source, meaning there are alternative builds that people have put together for free. The one I'm using crashes a bit often, but I deal with it; I like its simple interface.
What do you mean you can't get Chatzilla to work? I think the only thing you have to do is to type /server server.url.here when you start it up. Other than that it works just fine.
So, I slept for...three? Hours last night...
