  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Demisexual describes me much better than asexual >_> But I didn't know which one to use before, and asexual suited my orientation better than any of the other ones that I knew of.
  • I'm not sure what label(s) to apply to myself. I have a sex drive, but I have no desire to act on it. Also I cannot seriously picture myself ever having a romantic partner.

For some reason, I imagine re-enacting the infamous laughing scene from Final Fantasy X with my partner when considering the prospect of me being on a date (keep in mind the context of the scene).

    No rainbow star
I just finished a response paper on Boas (the man, not the snake) and culture, and I somehow made a comment about a culture seeing Woody the Woodpecker as the devil with it making sense in context
  • Kichigai birthday!!
Holy shit, the latest Adventure Time episode was great. Though I wish they stopped with the 11 minutes episodes and had 20 minutes ones.

My school had an anime club start up again yesterday, and I missed it because I was sick. They watched Nichijou, too (and apparently they referred to it as My Ordinary Life, so I had no idea that that's actually what they watched). ;_; Now I'm gonna have to watch it myself.
  • My anime club watched two episodes of Tiger and Bunny.
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
I'm in Boston today for college tours. Just saw Northeastern, and I'm heading to Emerson in an hour or so.

  • My friends go to northeastern. It's very modern looking.
  • Kichigai birthday!!
    Nichijou is My Ordinary Life.

    But in Japanese

^ Well, I know that now. I was just annoyed that it was referred to by its as-of-yet unofficial English name.

^^^ I visited Northeastern too, and I'm probably going to apply there. Pretty sweet campus, huh?

Hm. What if we both got accepted there? :O

THEN WE WILL BE COLLEGE BROS.

I liked the campus a lot. It was cool that they had such a nice campus right in the middle of Boston. And the co-op programs really appealed to me.

Definitely going to at least apply.
  • $80+ per session
I read that as Nichijou is My Life Me.
  • Yeah, I didn't apply because it was mad expensive, and I only took the SAT, and I'm pretty sure they wanted either SATII or ACT scores.

^^^ Plus their unhealthy but delicious cafeteria options mean I won't starve to death like at some other colleges.

What did you want to major in? Because if we also chose the same department, we could be roommates or something.

^ Wait, really? Shit. Let's see if i can still set up an ACT test, then; I was supposed to already, but now I have further incentive.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

Forget sushi, I'll just get Pizza Hut every day or something. Because that'll totally put me on the track to healthiness.

Although they have multiple cafeterias, so I should probably get something more affordable if I go.

They have those plans where you get like fifteen meals a week at any of those all you can eat dining halls, and it seemed like they had a pretty wide selection. Plus the fitness places to work off the Pizza Hut overload.

And I'm not quite sure what I want to major in, but probably something in the theatre/writing/filmmaking areas.

"And I'm not quite sure what I want to major in, but probably something in the theatre/writing/filmmaking areas."

Neat. I was thinking just English/Creative Writing because I don't have much experience with theater or scripwriting or anything.

"Plus the fitness places to work off the Pizza Hut overload."

Well, true. But I was probably going to try the fitness places anyway; I'm not so much worried about putting on weight (~5'8" (173 cm) and ~140 lbs (64 kg) with very unhealthy eating habits as-is) as I am just being really scrawny in the arms.

"They have those plans where you get like fifteen meals a week at any of those all you can eat dining halls,"

Which is cool because I could probably survive on two meals a week, without accounting for stuff like the fast food cafeteria.

EDIT: Just checked their page. It says they accept SAT and/or ACT. Which is fine with me, because I did pretty well on the SAT.

maybe it's because lolcolombia, but i don't see how this is a deterrent towards choosing a career. I knew shit about film when I started, but here I am.
