Oh I should go finish playing that.
Or maybe restart. I kinda opened up fifty sidequests and then promptly forgot everything due to putting down the game...
Most entertaining thing I remember is defeating most of the enemies with silent takedowns.
back when it was D&D 3.5e, all i knew was D&D 3.5e
then there was Pathfinder 1e, and i basically just transitioned to PF1e because it was D&D 3.5e but better
and then Pathfinder 2e came out and then i became all about PF2e because PF2e is (mostly) a better system that has various neat features and cleaned things up compared to the D&D3.5e/PF1e ways of doing things
but then i tried to get back into NWN2 and it's D&D3.5e modified for videogames and (1) now i'm mentally digging up my 3.5e knowledge yet also realizing i can't just rely on it because the game is different (e.g. you apparently get a penalty if you multiclass and the level differential between your classes is more than 1, or something like that)
also Pathfinder Kingmaker is PF1e (albeit again modified for videogames)
(Wrath of the Righteous is also PF1e but i haven't bought that yet)
and i've been trying to get back into Dragon Age: Origins, which is yet another thing of its own
(no, i'm not bothering to learn D&D 5e. played it for one encounter, and separately made a character as well. i forgot and i don't feel like remembering since i am not interested in joining its organized play stuff)
Basically, a mass multiplayer shooter where players fight for control over meticulously recreated interiors of Vatican. That's basically ass the idea since I don't know what else should be in it. Perhaps rather than simply a shooter it should be something like Rust, and that various items and landmarks inside the Vatican could be activated for bonuses. Like if you manage to get hold over that stove you can do the white smoke thing, or whatever, I dunno.
Free game. As part of the Metro franchise sale.
The best I got so far was civil war and/or loss to someone other than Worst Boy himself.
Shit works on a phone, so even away from my computer I'm not free.
This may too social-media-brained of me but I wish it had icons or something to indicate what each option does, so one doesn't have to read a paragraph to go "uh huh, so this is the economics option".
I don't even quite know how I achieved it, I tried to follow the guide courtesy by some redditor but I guess it still boiled down to luck a lot. I failed to set up the state buyer of agricultural goods, failed to prevent the battlecruiser construction, and lost Prussia of all things, so I couldn't even kick out the Worst Boy. Somehow I still managed to score better in second elections than I did in the first, I don't know how, I guess spamming the commercialization of party newspaper helped to reach new voters after all. By the way, if you run the WTB plan you gotta remember implementing it requires multiple steps, it's not enough if you hit the implementation button just once. So, no luxury gay space communism for Germany so far, but at least it crawled out of the Great Depression with public works and got Adenauer in power instead of Austria's top painter.
Altogether I feel like I learnt more about the Weimar Republic over the last three days than I did in, like, half of all my education so far? Something like that.
