    The ultimate source of many of the problems with TV Tropes is that it is being run almost singlehandedly by a man who doesn't have the skill, emotional well-being or aptitude for adminning a site that gets a fair amount of traffic.

    Second, I didn't think Fast Eddie could get any worse.

    Third, guys, this is hopeless. Don't bother arguing with him. Just leave and watch him dig his holes. And/or what ninjaclown suggested here, of course:

    I wouldn't mind seeing this happen, actually. The site's a horrible joke at this point.

    With that all being said, I'm gonna have to ask everyone to calm down. This is a pretty lousy thing to get so worked up about, and the legality of this discussion is shady. If people wanna bitch about TVT, please take it to PMs; we don't need more threads about TVT, and certainly not discussions out in the open.

    ^^^ People could always back up the good parts. Then the site could begin again anew, with a proper set of admins (Really, the big issue is that Fast Eddie has nobody to check him. If there was somebody else with his powers, then they could keep him in check, and vice versa)

    I didn't think so either when Fast Eddie did the childish thing of deleting Troper Tales and attempting to hide it in a new part of the site, but he has hit an all-time low.

    Watch, he's going to surprise us with something even more banal.

    Also, if you guys still like the idea of collecting and "analyzing" elements in fiction, somebody from SA started the tvtropessuccessorproject, but I haven't heard anything about it since the second thread was gassed, nor do I remember the link, and it's not like I can go trawling through PYRT because I've been perma-banned.

    ^^ If I remember correctly, FE does have somebody else with at least almost his level of control over the site, and that is Madrugada, but she is pretty much with FE and we have seen how poorly she behaved during the troper tales delete debate.

    Save them to your folder and then either use dropbox so you don't need to upload them again or upload them to imgur and keep the URLs in a word document or something.

    The main reason I think cutting off TVTropes advertising is too extreme is because genuinely cool guys like BobbyG, who believe in the quality of the website despite it's flaws, will suffer because of one person.
