    Complications aside? general forum environment where conversations are kept on topic while evading the aspect of the topic at will in order to make a point (As Katrika pointed out in a much better fashion) constant No True Scotsman defenses, and there's a certain...culture there, if you will, that makes that sub forum a lot less enjoyable and easy to join in and discuss in properly.

    ^ The problem is that the subforum is far, far far more left leaning. There're barely any right wing people there, and if there're, they tend to be extremists or just have bad forum etiquette.

    I know that, although the posters from Europe are all left-leaning. 

    Not that politics is entirely the denominator for wacky shenanigans; there was one lovely troper who said he supported the massacre of 90 kids in Norway last month because it would prevent them from becoming terrible people, and he's in the center on that graph.

    The worst left-wing OTC poster I can think of is Savage Heathen. Nobody else really comes close in terms of hardlinerness and stupidity. I think. Maybe there have been new arrivals?

    And anyway, does it even matter that much? The problem is not where they stand on the issues so much as how they stand on them.

    Both sides use a lot of fallacies, irrationality and quotes/links instead of making points and discussing.

    Rottweiler doesn't post much anymore, which is a shame because he was one of the most consistently sane voices there. Also, if anyone was wondering, the one who said murdering children was a good thing is Tsukubus.

    Signed has come really, really close. To the point of defending actual pedophilia. Also, it took Balloon Fleet saying that a kid being sexually assaulted was awesome for him to get banned. He was a known pedophile long before that, since wanting to fuck kids was pretty much all he ever talked about.
