You are welcome. I like attention.

Mmmmmm'hmm.
Why not? For a brief moment you interpreted me accurately earlier, and that was cool. It was like one of those Bioware games where you suddenly got +5 Approval in one go.
.....phobe.
Maybe, but i'm not the one advocating for mass genocide of humanity.
> As far as I can see, folk who don't see the world as a festering shithole are... well, completely alien to me. I don't get them at all.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
> Can I call mine "try to get stuff done but keep failing land" then? I can't imagine it is the same stuff though.
Sure.
Probably isn't, but whatev' dude.
> Did you know that the Japanese word for Rose is the same as the Welsh word for Bread? ... But if I'm speaking Welsh, I sure as fuck don't mean Rose when I say it. Get what I'm saying? Metaphorically speaking, as opposed to the usual literal?
1. No, I don't.
2. Metaphor can have many meanings. If not, people wouldn't still be arguing over Evangelion to this day.
> I'd really like to get on with you guys... but suddenly everything becomes magical random interpretation time the moment I hit the "Post Comment" button and everyone gets to work conjuring fantasy meanings out of their butts or whatever.
Ahh, the magic of words having different meanings to different people.
Also, I no longer understand this thread.
I know that people ought to learn to deal with displeasure in life. And most of us do deal with it, to varying extents, already.
However, that doesn't mean we won't have opinions on it. Given that the voicing of these opinions is one of the main purpose for the existence of this forum...yeah, people will be complaining about things a lot of the time.
No, we don't take everything seriously. We joke, we laugh, we offer image macros, we shitpost. But that doesn't mean that we enjoy turning things into life lessons or political philosophy debates or criticisms of Homestuck/Touhou/MLP/Madoka all the time.
We are not Kzer-Za, so this set of thinking is disgusting.
And mostly I just want to remove life because it begets cruelty as its modus operandi... but... ok. Shouldn't get into that. Sorry.
Of course. Or at least the difference between my opinion and theirs, my perspective and theirs... assuming they all share the same perspective. I expect there are differences, but I can't see them from where I am, so.... moot point.
What I'm saying is that I don't imply something. I usually mean exactly what I say, and don't mean what I don't say. I'm not sure why that is a tough concept for people to grasp. "Implying" stuff is a foreign concept to me that I only vaguely understand the meaning of in an abstract sense. It just seems a lot like assuming I mean onions when I say carrots...
So all this talk of my being supposedly condescending and whatnot... If I was gonna say someone was inferior to me, I'd just come out and say they're inferior to me. All this "condescending" stuff is like seeing the image of Jesus in a dog's butt. In the end of the day, it is just a dog's butt. Jesus ain't there. Like for like and all that. Just cos you can read stuff into what I'm saying doesn't mean that I even remotely meant what is being assumed of it. It is a safe bet that I don't, in fact.
I'd imagine that is true of most threads I post in, at the very least.
That's just your opinion.
Mine is the opposite.
This is not news.
And who or what is "Kzer-Za"?
The Kzer-Za was a race of South America natives who believed that humanity should be eliminated off of the face of the earth by them, and that the rest of humanity should allow them to do so because all humans are flawed and capable of commiting heinous inhumane acts.
They were under the belief that it was okay to murder millions of humans because there was always a change that they would be reborn a Kzer-Za, and because their Path of Now And Forever dictated it.
Wait my bad, their called the Kohr-Ah.
The Skedar and the Maians had most of their battles take place primarily in South America.
Or at least you would be if you ever had it, whatever it is.Well maybe if it lost it then it wouldn't complain about being forever alone so much, amirite?
But essentially, if the Kzer-Za or Kohr-Ah or whatever were exempting
themselves from annihilation, or worse yet trying to enslave...
well.... that is unacceptable.
The point is freedom.
The point is freedom from suffering. Freedom from oppression. Freedom from restriction. Freedom from existence.
Enslavement of entire galaxies = worst possible outcome.
Systematic eradication of entire galaxies = best possible outcome.
Can't get more extreme than that.
