What's your LEAST favorite work of fiction ever?

  • TNA Wrestling. I'd heard for years that it was a good competitor with WWE (which itself has plenty of hit or miss phases), but I apparently decided to finally give it a shot right smack in the middle of its "Let's revive the absolute worst days of WCW, right down to the exact same wrestlers, story-lines, and on-air personalities of that halcyon era" phase.

    K-On!

    *ANGRY FACE*
  • I once read one of the Sven Hassell WWII novels, following the exploits of a German SS unit. Good God, it was terrible. The writer should have been sent to the Eastern Front for writing it.

Having mentioned CSI as a favourite, I must say - it's never been the same since Grissom left, and CSI: Miami has consistently sucked. David Caruso stopped doing that thing with his sunglasses, which was frankly about the only good bit.

  • Least I Could Do.

    Fuck that shit.
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!

Superman III is the greatest superhero movie of all time, not like that piece of shit The Dark Knight

What I find funny is I'm pretty sure I'm the only one on this board who saw Superman III and IV.
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
Quoting Wicked who was obviously trolling me last page. See, the only reason he'd choose Superman III is because I made a dig at it in my Smallville liveblog. Good to know people are reading it though. =D
  • OH! My mistake, cause you didn't have any formation around it and I tend to skim threads, I just assumed you had written that.

I've seen Superman III, it's shit. Superman IV's better but still not good. Superman Returns is better than both of them...but still not good.

Dark Knight is the second best Batman film ever.
  • What's the first?

    The '89 Batman.

Clarification: I feel that while The Dark Knight is a better made film, the '89 Batman actually feels like Batman and captures the spirit of both Bruce Wayne and the Joker much better than Nolan's films ever did.
  • You can change. You can.
    lol, malk rage in 5
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
OI. God. I should just have a little copypasta to explain why I hate that movie.

Long story short, my opinion is

    The Dark Knight>Batman Begins>Mask of the Phantasm>Return of The Joker>Batman '66>Batman & Robin >Batman Forever>Batman '89>Batman Returns.
  • Hmm. I can't stand Strawberry Panic. That's the closest I can think of for a least favorite work.
  • ^^ I prefer

    Batman '89>Dark Knight>Batman Begins>Batman and Robin>Batman '69>Batman Forever>Batman Returns.
  • You can change. You can.
It seems everyone hates Batman Returns.

    Glad we agree on something.
  • Batman and Batman Returns are two excellent examples of Tim Burton.

It's just that Batman is an example of how good Burton can be with someone reigning him in.

While Batman Returns is an example of the kind of crap he spews when given too much freedoms.
  • Clean your room little Billy

    I don't hate Batman Returns...

  • You can change. You can.
  • Has friends besides tanks now
"Hmm. I can't stand Strawberry Panic"

    How ironic.
  • Clean your room little Billy
    ^^ Is that...Merv Hughes?
  • ^^ It's just way way too sad and moody. D; Along with a number of other things I find issue with.
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
Until recently I actually remembered Returns more fondly, because it attempted to be darker and more morally ambiguous. Rewatching it for a paper made me realize what a confused and jumbled mess it is. I've been told it keeps switching writers and it shows, especially as they can't keep the goals and personalities of their villains consistent. Not the '89 could either, but it's even worse in Returns.
