It is such a versatile cheese.

You can have mild cheddar (for people who are rubbish) to mature cheddar (for people who like cheese) and many variants in between.

You can also get a variety of flavoured cheddars, like Marmite, Branston pickle, Jerk chicken, Garlic and herb, etc.

Some of what you call cheddar isn't, some of it is just processed flavoured cheese.

The best Cheddar is the mature Protected stuff, from the West Country.

All the Chinese places near me feature almost exclusively Chinese staff. It's still totally European food (and rice) though.
