Admittedly, it was more of a phrasing problem, but you're right. Hence why I didn't call him on that.

In that case, do what you can to get in touch with a doctor, be it through your parents or if you have to tell someone at school.

I don't even know if this is just depression or not. And I'm always hesitant to go to a doctor because I don't want to be prodded and sent off somewhere so I can become some dehumanized guinea pig for the government.

I'll think about doing it, though.

If you're really nearly starving yourself, there's no 'convincing them there's something wrong with you'. You'd have a lot of weight, you'd be looking very haggard, you'd be sleeping far too much and your breath would smell foul.

Beyond that, Jesus Christ man. If they really won't take you, you have a fucking school clinic. Or just take a goddamned bus downtown and see the doctor yourself.

I can say with the utmost confidence that yes, the school officials can and will do something about one of their students slowly wasting away in front of them. Hell, they could call social services on your ass, at the very least.

Well, my dad.....I just have a very low opinion of him. I mean, he might take me to the doctor.....but I have this irrational feeling he'd not do it just because it would cost too much money or something like that.

You acknowledge that it is irrational, and yet you don't do it anyway?

This is probabl just depression. I've been eating more a little bit in the last few days. I guess from now on, I'll try to make an effort to eat more until it passes.
