My plans keep falling through.

If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
This is getting really, really annoying.

  • That's sad to hear Cygan, is there anyway we could possibly help?

I was meant to go down to Social Services today.

I couldn't, because the car broke down and by the time I walked there it was shut.

    ^ Don't think so.
  • D:

Are you able to go there tomorrow?
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    Nope. School goes back tomorrow.
  • That's terrible news. D: I'm really so sorry to hear that.

Is there any way at all to go after school? You need to get out of that situation. :<

Not really. It's about a 40-minute walk from school, and as I can't go until 3:30 and it closes at 4...
  • Is there any way to talk to the school alumni and see about getting in contact with someone that can help from that place?

I'm sorry, this is probably redundant and you've most likely thought to do this already and/or is something you would've done by now if you could.

    I'm just worried. *huggle*

The school can't help. It's quite annoying, but they're not allowed to inquire into y personal life unless there are physical signs of abuse.

    -hug-

I just need to wait... more days.
  • That is a terribly stupid policy, good god.

If I were you and the situation is that serious, I'd say "fuck it" and just cut class a little early. Normally I'd never even consider such a thing but your safety is what's most important.

    I would, but... Bah.

Complicated social situations, but it boils down to I'm safe in class/in the library, and not safe if I walk out early and go down towards town.
  • What is it that's keeping you? Just a dangerous part of town at a certain time of day or something more?

  • I want your hard, feathery cock, Bird Boy.
    Call the police?
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Nah. It's the other kids at school who like to sip wander around there, too.

And protip: If most of the kids in your school are transphobic, it's a good idea not to wander in drunk one morning and blurt out that you're trans.

    @Snappy: Did. Didn't stop anything.
  • I want your hard, feathery cock, Bird Boy.
What happened when you called the police? What did you say?
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    Which time? School/home situation?
  • Well...I think if you're going to be in danger either at home or seeking help, your best bet is to take the chance doing whatever you can to seek help. :< At least this way there's a possibility of improvement.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    I am.

The thing is, my social life is... well, about as good as you'd expect from a trans kid in a transphobic town.

And when a lot of the kids you live near, and that hang around downtown, are very rough-and-rowdy types, it gets dangerous pretty quick. And I'm limited to my own resources in stopping them. I can call the police on them, but I can't afford legal fees at all, so there's very little chance of them actually receiving any punishment for it- so they look upon being called out on it as a badge of pride.
  • If it's dangerous enough at home to need outside assistance though, there's nothing left for you to do. :<

Does every single kid know about you? If they're going to be in school maybe just not going to school and heading straight for the social services place is your best bet.

I'm trying to figure the lesser of two evils, since you're definitely between a rock and a hard place, but of course you know your situation best. I apologize if I'm very little help. If anything I'm here for you morally. <3

I know. No matter what I do, it's dangerous for me.

What I think I'll end up aiming for is to go on Friday, when I go shopping anyway.

I'll get to pick up my new washing machine and dryer, then, and when I get back from reporting her, she'll have left to go to her new house.

The main issue I have a problem with is that she's taking my little brother with her. Keep in mind, this is a woman with a track record of never washing, never cleaning, never cooking, never taking people to school, never going shopping, never buying food.

As long as she can call her fuckbuddies over whenever, buy enough coffee to keep her happy, buy enough cigarettes to keep her happy, and buy enough takeaway pizza to feed herself, she doesn't care.

Wait, that's not true. She cares if the house is not clean. Sh just won't lift a finger to do it herself, but will take it out on us if it's not done.

I can't leave my brother in a house like that. That's why I need to get down there and report her as soon as possible.
  • I want your hard, feathery cock, Bird Boy.
Tomorrow is as soon as possible.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Tomorrow is also dangerous for my health if I get caught skipping.

And while I don't want to leave him with her for any longer than possible, I also want to not have to visit hospital again.
  • It sounds like a plan then. If you can report her on Friday in relative safety, you can hopefully let them know she still has your brother and that you're both being mistreated.

I'll be keeping you in my thoughts sweetie~. <3
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
That sucks, Cygan. If you were in Melbourne, I'd lend you a hand with all this stuff. :/
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    Thanks ^_^
  • Likewise if you were in Edmonds. Even though I'm probably too scrawny to be much help in chasing away anyone who tried messing with you. OTL

It's frustrating when you care so much for a friend and there's very little you can do for them.

OTOH, I can always bring my birthday present along.

    But that's illegal.

    Sorry, didn't have anything else to say >_>;
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
    Wouldn't blame you.

It's not like I've never wanted to take my sword to someone. :/

I wish I still had my sword, instead of a pissy dagger.
