  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
That's the point at which it stops being safe =(

As it is I pretty much go into school, go to the library and sit under teacher's supervision, leave, and once I am outside the school yet still where teachers can see I get in Nan's care and she drives me home.

And even then, I've still been beaten up.
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
And all the external support factors have failed, or so I understand.

Other school exits? Knowledge of bully movement patterns? Any of that kind of thing relevant?
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
    Any potential allies?

    -shrug-

I've never taken the chance to find out. I mean, I already have a relatively safe method.
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
I know your appeal to the authorities haven't done anything thus far, but this is seriously bad.

When you've got your own stuff sorted, I think it's in the best interests of everyone to make some kind of report concerning the violence of the students. Give it to the cops, the school, higher organisations, whatever. Some kind of change obviously needs to happen. If you've been assaulted and punishment against that has been to little or nothing, then we have multiple assaults getting a free pass from lawful authorities and the school.

Look, I know how it can be. I've been in a situation where I couldn't turn in an absolutely repugnant person because of the implications it'd have on myself and people I valued. But that was different -- that was a hardened cage fighter with a crew and connections. Even if it carries some risk, making a ruckus of this could save you some pain as well as improving standards for other benevolent students such as yourself.

They do get punished to the furthest extent they can be.

They just don't seem to care.

    Then keep reporting.

This kind of system works by piling up offenses.

    >_<

    I'm also leaving soon-ish.

I may sound like I'm making excuses, but for a while now, I've been making plans as to how to get out of this situation.

And thus the title of this thread.
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
Well, at least you've been taking matters into your own hands where possible.

For what it's worth, you've been very strong about all this. Most people in this situation would be pretty lost and many would probably crumple under the circumstances.

You've planned and done far and away more than anything I'd expect from someone who's 18 and still in school. Keep trucking, I'll be hollering on the sidelines.

    Thanks ^_^
