That has to be the funniest name ever.
A flashlight it's not something you set on fire, therefore calling it a torch is wrong and sick.
Stupid, stupid americans all derpy-derping around calling trousers "pants", calling pants other things, and calling a pavement a "sidewalk" despite their walking upright (and forwards) on it. Stupid americans who struggle with the letter "u", and have tried to rename a goodly portion of the period table because they couldn't understand it... including changing Caesium to Cesium (the entire Roman empire rolling in their graves). Stupid americans and their stupid northern cousins the Canadians who take 3+ seconds to pronounce the word "on" and make up for this by never shutting their damned mouths.
Alright.
Ok.
Done blowing everything out of proportion here.
I'm generally ok with yanks being yanks... but when they start the "hurr hurr look at da english stuff" routine, I do feel rather obligated to mention just a small selection of the ridiculous things our transatlantic cousins do.
Barring that, can I still say "Luminatio!" or "Vol Luminatio!" every time I whip on a flashlight/torch?
"calling a pavement a "sidewalk" despite their walking upright (and forwards) on it."
Uh.....it's called that because it's on the side of the road.
Imperial is unecessarily complicated.
You should give more reasons as why you think so. I like metric because is simpler as INUH said and is standard for the whole world
Also complaining about the month/day/year thing is goddamn petty.
Besides, I thought you loved European stuff
Yeah, the month/day/year thing is petty, but it was in the image and I was lazy to edit it out
I also use 24-hour time.
