Is it "these traditional values are better/more correct", or is it "let us find values we can live by indefinitely"?
Both? The former informs the latter. You can't start making up your values in 2020, that's ridiculous.
And in my case it's literally only certain -most if I'm being generous in some respects- Western Judeo-Christian traditional values I'd say are worth keeping around. The "values of the Burgeois", but then I'd need to explain myself further...
Anyhow, one major criticism I have with "conservatism" in the form it's usually talked about lately (within the past few decades or so), at least here in the United States, is that it doesn't make proper consideration of long-term viability. Or, y'know, "sustainability", as a general idea. Rather, it just emphasizes insisting that the old ways are better, and that new ideas, especially ones that rock the boat of old ideas, should be questioned and opposed.
I don't know where this image is from. It's labeled, obviously, but I haven't watched the series by that name.
Oh, and concerning ancient Hindu symbols, this was literally the opinion of the local law enforcement when asked to deal with it. Apparently they knew more than me; I, for one, did not expect there are so many observant Hindus in Poland that they're the ones smearing swastikas. I would say better them than neo-Nazis and football thugs, but, I'm told, once they're gone I will miss them more than I would observant Hindus.

This one is 'shopped.
This one is not 'shopped - some activist group actually went there and placed a huge rubber duck in that pond. The Overlord's last name is derived from a root meaning "duck", so it's a political allusion too.
I found this one by accident, but it feels so fitting with the recent dramas.
And this, is what some people actually do believe concerning the origins of the Slavs. The whole story could warrant a long entry in the Polish Memes thread, so if you're interested let me know and I'll start gathering material.
It is. It's nice.
I do remember once reading a Slate article that amounted to "These rappers are giant misogynists but I liiiike theeeeem".
Edit: Man, what happened to my diction.
I think this is because there's a monomania ie implementing/propping up socialism (for, you know, the people), and dogmatic practices require no solid structure as long as they're perpetuated (for, you know, the people).

(those are broken right now FWIW, because the Dashboard is currently broken)
Cahmpletely unrelated;
It's Digimoji.
Well, this;
edit: the kid on the left in the *other* picture
Also:
Trump comic's just painfully lazy (also couldn't resist the dumb stock market thing with the chart).
surely this is the sign of the leftist disease of the white man's civilization
how about this one?

In other news:
Well this was probably a 'give it time' thing because now I'm pretty neutral about it.
And well yeah probably.
Laaaaaaaaaaaaazy.
The feeling I get from major right wing accounts is like "oh the leftists wish death on someone again moving on".
And this image tacitly admits they're not being nice about it.
ie
Though I'm not sure what that relates to.
Meawhile I could post a pic of obnoxious Trump supporter types being called out for their hypocrisy over criticizing liberals, but I guess for now I'll note that for them to complain about incivility is, even at the furthest extent in their favor, the pot calling the kettle black.
