Nah. Billy Batson had the Marvel family. He lived with a talking tiger, remember?
I think he's homeless in Kingdom Come (You know, before Lex abducts him and goes all handsy handsy on his brain) but that's about it.

Well, Billy started as an orphan, then he slowly got a job and Mary and all the rest.

And also he lives on the street at this point (at least I think he still does in New 52), so this is likely the most money he's seen in years.
