    For all his narrative flaws, I wouldn't call Snyder mediocre. He's pretty good in a visual sense. And well...I'm a bitch for stuff like that, so.

    Mind you, to me, his complain is valid. Both of the threads complaints were basically "LOLinaccuracy in a fantastical story" and "Watchmen in unadaptable. As wel all knew. As Zack Snyder knew, even"

    And they were both about movies by a director who, while not incredibly good, is not as bad as people tend to say. Same goes to his movies.

    Speaking of bitching about Snyder, I remember TvT's thread on Sucker Punch. My God, the bitching...it almost made me think that Zack Snyder was Uwe Boll's pseudonym or something.

    Why is everyone in that thread (and, by extension, the Internet) willing to pass off stupid shit with Rule of Cool? Just because it looks nice doesn't make it good.

    Juan: I think Snyder's fine for music videos or storyboarding short films. I just don't think he should handle anything that happens to have an actual story or narrative to it.

    ^I agree with this. Just because it's cool doesn't mean it's worthwhile. Big dumb cool things on screen aren't exactly rare anyways so I don't see why I can't demand something be both cool and good.
