    I don't see insults.

    I see help.
  • Vivi: Except said "help" is fearmongering anyway. Vorpy cannot and will never truly know how I tick, making her armchair psychology useless.
  • Is it me, or is this thread becoming more about everyone arguing with Chagen and therefore enabling him to say silly things instead of the hilarity of the blatant sexism in the story?

This argument just seems like it's wasting time and putting stress on people when they could be having fun talking about silly things, like other badfic.

Or, I'm just being a Buzzkillington and need to shut up, but still, just trying to help.

I find it hard to insult people.

    Coulda fooled me.

Maybe you should take your real life philosophy and apply it to the internet, then.
  • @Snowbull

I've seen it happen a few times. Still, it seems like unnecessary arguing, which is unfair to both sides if you really think about it.

Causes Chagen stress and increases the chance that he'll do something stupid whilst also driving other people insane trying to combat his logic, which...is a bit of a lost cause, really. No offense to Chagen. It's a cycle that ends in yelling and screaming and nobody having a good time :(

I pretty much left at that point.
  • So, question Vorpy and Vivi:

What was that about adding the story to Feedcast? From what I know about Feedcast that makes no sense. What were you trying to do?

Stop trying to dictate what I do with MYFUCKING PENIS.
I wish it was possible to sig things on this forum.

    I don't know anymore....I just don't know.

    -looks at my feedcast-

    oh hey Aural Tangent updated
  • "I've come to the conclusion that this is a VERY STUPID IDEA."
Most of my fetishes involve scenarios that I'd rather not see inflicted on anyone in real life. I hope this is normal, given some of the stuff I've seen on the internet.
  • Glaives are better.

You know, I don't usually say this, but... I agree with Chagen. Adults should be able to fap to whatever they want, so long as the participants in their viewing material do so consensually. And the media effects theory is a retarded slippery slope that leads to people not being able to think for themselves.

  • Woki mit deim Popo.
I wish it was possible to sig things on this forum.

I suppose you could use that as a custom title.
  • Please don't turn back into a silly argument, please don't turn back into a silly argument..

Cygan, the author is the participant in this case.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Yeah, I know, but your post made me think of that.
  • To me, a person's fetishes are just that, something that the person gets off on.

I'm not going to judge anyone as long as they aren't killing/hurting anyone without consent, since...it would be hypocritical of me to do so. Whatever people are going to get off on, they're going to get off on.

So, to me, this whole argument just seems like a waste of time...Of course, once again, I could just be being a buzzkillington, so...I'll shut up now >.<
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Yeah, but... See... It's not all that easy to dissociate.

There are rape fetishists, yes. There are also people who have been raped.

And to these rape victims, when they look at the rape fetishists...

What they see is someone who gets off at the thought of someone being hurt, humiliated and disregarded like they were.

And, well- if they're able to get off on that, who's to say they can't get off on their case of it?
  • Glaives are better.

I'd say that it's the victims' jobs to blame their humiliation and degradation on the rapist who harmed them, not someone who just happens to have a fetish. No one is harmed if some weirdo whacks off at the thought of some teen getting forcefully penetrated, even if you don't like the idea of it. And, even though it's creepy, some weirdo whacking off in their basement at the thought of YOU getting forcefully penetrated isn't illegal or harmful either.

  • Though I don't usually agree with Hatter, this time I'm with him all the way.

I have all sympathy for rape victims, but my masturbating to rapefic doesn't hurt them at all. If it did I'd stop. As is if they're thinking that much about my masturbation habits I would say they're being creepier than I am.
