    Well, I think that was honestly quite mean of people to tell him that in the first place. I understand that they were supposed to be joking, but I think that when someone brings up something that really disturbs him or her you should treat that subject gently.

    I cannot agree about the explosions thing, but I suppose different strokes for different folks applies here. I do agree about the happiness, love, and joy stuff though. Sometimes I really feel like both the TV Tropes forum and this one are too cold, but your mileage may vary there.

    I am certainly not an expert about what makes a good mod, but I do think it is generally a good idea to keep editing people's posts to an absolute minimum. This might just be me, but I feel like that type of thing makes mods looks kind of irresponsible because it involves invading your personal space (i.e. your posts). That being said, I am not very familiar with your behavior as a mod, so I do not think I am qualified to judge it. I just think that what I mentioned might be something to keep in mind. 

    I have been trying to keep this to an absolute minimum- only really editing to add in a message warning against something, or to thump a post.

    Oddly, I don't have any tension with any ijbmers yet. It's actually nice. I have a far more relaxed attitude here. All the people I have tension with are on the right or middle, for really really petty reasons.

    I now realize I actually meant left and middle. Curse my horrible sense of left and right.

    Basically, yack fest was on the right side of the screen, while writer's block and wiki talk are on the left side of the screen, and stuff like literature and webcomics are in the center.

    Cygan: I don't know. It's something I CONSTANTLY need to remind myself. I usually mime writing to figure it out, but I was typing, and couldn't do that (yep, that mentally weak on it) so I got confused.

    Dunno why, always been like that.

    Tnu: Well, if it helps, you look like you've gotten better. Not return-level better, but better.
